Set in a beautiful location, this quirky tea room serves lovely food so don't be surprised that is busy especially at weekends. We had English breakfast and a scone which is the best I ever tasted. Lovely service too.

At the moment they are only doing take away food and drink, but you can eat it outside on the tables provided. We had a cream tea, which had 2 massive scones, cream and jam, all really fresh. When it does fully reopen, it's a quaint, characterful building in a beautiful traditional English village square, that has been used as a film set on many occasions.

We came here for our first visit today. I chose the cheese salad, my husband had the ham salad. The food was plentiful, quick & very tasty. The staff were friendly & welcoming. Another couple had the cream tea each. The scones were large & the couple said if they'd realised it was that large, they would have shared. The lady offered to wrap them up so they could take them home, but the customer decided against it. The cake was homemade and delicious. Can't wait to return. Thank you Shelley s tea room.

It's sad that covid-19 is having such a negative effect on some business's. Lovely place to go only doing outside seating and take away food and drinks. But the service is great and friendly good value for money and delicious cakes well worth a visit if your in the area.

The lovely owner saved me 2 cream teas and so kindly left them in the pub for me as we couldn't get to them before closing. My freind was at the hospital. The scones were gorgeous and the cream and berry jam scrummy! Thanks so much!

We visited when we they were only offering take away, but they had seats outside and we sat in the sun enjoying fantastic cakes. The tea was ok, the coffee wasn't very good. Average prices and very friendly staff

Very pretty little place. I visit this place every few months and the quality continues to be outstanding :) This is a great stop off point after a long walk or even just to drive here to have a tea with family or friends. Food is basic and home made. The sandwiches are tasty and filling but the cakes or cream tea are some of the best I've had. My only suggestion would be not to attend during extremely busy periods. This is because parking in Chilham can be a nightmare and the service provided at the tea room can become slow.

Amazing scones, huge and delicious! The owners are helpful and very welcoming. Still outdoor seating only but as restrictions ease, this may change.

Excellent place. The food was really good quality and the service friendly and efficient. It has a quaint cosy feel and a great setting in the main square of the beautiful village. It can get a little crowded at busy times but outdoor seating is available if the weather is good. Overall a great atmosphere and a lovely place to have a bite.
