Most recent visit…a truly stunning 🌞😎😊 April weather day. Booked in for lunch, agreed with landlord could use the car park, met friend for delightful circa 10,000 step walk. Back for lunch, ate outside. Lovely ‘Swift One’ beer 🍺, very friendly and helpful staff… very tasty steak /cheese /bacon burge
3 of us went for lunch and the experience was top drawer. Lovely waitress, fantastic food, and very dog friendly.
The pub is a basic county pub with easy parking and a nice friendly atmosphere.
Prices are reasonable for the food quality.
We will be making a special journey in August to revisit.
First visit to the Abbots Mitre for lunch. Food , beer and wine were all excellent , Steak cooked very nicely with a peppercorn sauce and sides , the fish pie was also excellent . Nice beers on tap and a good wine selection too. Service was friendly. Pub is in a nice setting with a decent amount of
Mum and I had a lovely meal out here. Mum's Fish Pie looked delicious and was enormous, and my Sea Bream was perfectly cooked. I can't eat gluten or dairy, so the temptation of a pudding had to be avoided, but for anyone without dietary restrictions they looked fabulous too!
Stopped in on our way home from our holiday. Great Sunday roast. Perhaps could have been a little hotter and generous with the veg for the price but tasted delicious. It was very busy and only space to eat was outside. The real ale was in perfect condition.
The Abbots Mitre is a lovely family friendly traditional English pub in the heart of Hampshire serving freshly cooked food and quality local ales. The food that we were served was absolutely first class and the presentation was "Michelin Class" as far as I am concerned and that's my opinion. The pic
Stopped here for a drink and light lunch after a long walk, the food was great! Nice to sit at the front in the sun as the garden at the back didn't have much view. The staff all seemed really friendly and gave good service. Parts of the pub looked a little tired but overall it's a nice place to sto
Nice food, not too pricy, good service. Lovely Argentinian Malbec that went great with the sirloin. Goats cheese croquettes too start are nice too.
Advise booking for Sunday lunch
