Pepe’s Chigwell is a great place to get a quick, good value, high protein meal. They have great rice box options for multiple diets (incl. vegetarian options).

I have been going to this Pepes since it opened and I believe it is the best tasting one out of them all. The quality has been on-point every time I’ve ordered. I’m not a big fan of eating out but when there’s nothing cooked at home, it’s always a chicken and rice meal from Pepes Chigwell as the next option. Axc the gentlemen behind the counter always knows what I want even before I order and makes every visit a pleasurable experience.
This Pepes is the cleanest takeaway/restaurant I’ve come across in East London/Essex, this is due to the understanding and relationship between Staff and owners and the quality shows in the food being produced.
Recently there has been a cat guarding the entrance keeping out any unwanted guests. I’ve named the cat Tava.
Their peri wings and chicken n rice boxes are lovely. A little cheaper at the gants hill branch than woodford.

I was impressed with Axc's level of customer service with my first order, he was so polite and friendly, so I came back and placed a second one the week after! will repeat business because of him and the quality of the grilled food pleasantly surprised me. No more Nandos for me! replacing with Pepe's going forward. Thanks Axc. :)
Wings are excellent. Just miss the day 5/6 wings and chips was 1.99 :(
