Lovely little pub, relaxed environment, staff are friendly and welcoming. We had steak and ale pie which was really tasty and portion sizes are great. Would definitely recommend.
Visited today and had the Roast beef which was delicious, lovely landlady and very polite and lovely young waitress really worth a visit. Easy to park and very clean facilities with a great vibe ( and great music ) could not fault!! Thank you
For a local thatched roof pub it’s convenient, some of the dishes were great and some lacking (sausage’s) but that’s a personal preference. Recommend the scampi and homemade chips. Staff were attentive and food brought out piping hot. And for a Tuesday it certainly got busy. Get there early to find
We had a lovely light lunch here yesterday. We were greeted by a very friendly polite lady, who took our order. The jacket potatoes we had were perfectly cooked with a great choice of fillings with a fresh salad. The place was very clean with a great friendly atmosphere. Nice to go to a proper pub w
I just wanted to say a massive thank you to the staff of this lovely pub. Yesterday we stopped off as there was terrible traffic on our trip home and my three children were starving. They squeezed us in and we’re very helpful. They even brought us Uno cards whilst we waited. The burgers looked fanta
Bit of a late lunch on way home to Lyme Regis after a busy morning. Quiet but great food and value. Real chips too. Nice touch.
This was our first visit to The Clock House, which was recommended by friends. Warm welcome on arrival, ordered drinks and was shown to our table. Order taken at the table, we all had 3 courses. Excellent well run local pub. Great hospitality and impeccable facilities. We had a traditional roast lunch which was very tasty. The owners did all they can to make us feel comfortable and the hospitality was exceptional. Free parking, great food and good selection of drinks. What more can you ask
Love this pub. We come back every year on holiday and always eat here.
Was staying in the village for a week on holiday and visited four times. Lovely beers and ciders, great food with many rotating specials. The friendliest pub in Dorset! Special mention must go to the pub quiz which was an absolute delight with questions for all ages and a lovely vibe for tourists an
Great for food and drink at reasonable prices. A must if you are staying at Golden Cap and only a short walk. Excellent too for games especially if the weather is a bit wet. Skittle alley, 5 dartboards + more
Lovely local pub, dog friendly. Great real ale.
Stopped off on the way to Devon from a trip to France we sailed in to Portsmouth. It was a Sunday afternoon. The place was very cold and they only had one portion of the soup we wanted,a warm place and warm food is fairly basic. The staff were friendly and pleasant the guy behind the bar was real
We visited the Clock House Inn as a party of 12 and were put in the “Alley” couldn’t have been better we had several games of skittles making as much noise as we liked. The service was exceptional, the waitress checked that she has 12 orders for drinks and all courses for 12 people. Great food we
Lovely well cooked meal. Very nice pub
Went there for a skittles match only. A decent pint of doom bar served by a friendly barmaid. Apart from the skittles alley there were no other customers. As we left we were glared at by an older man sitting on the corner of the bar, who might well have been the owner. If so, I will give him the ben
