Booked the lugger for a birthday meal tonight for 26 people. What a fantastic evening. The staff were all really helpful, polite, and attentive. Wow, the food was amazing. So many of my friends said how tasty their food was. I'm fussy with steak, but it was cooked perfectly and was really tender. My daughter was able to go in early and decorate the tables. The staff brought a cake out that my daughter had given to them. They played birthday music. I would definitely recommend this place for a party or event or even just a quiet meal. Considering they were so very busy with another massive party and other guests, they still made my night really enjoyable, and we will definitely go back.

We went 3 times during our stay in Weymouth. Once for Sunday lunch and twice midweek. Very welcoming and great atmosphere. Lovely staff and absolutely gorgeous food. Our beagle was also welcome and loved all the attention she received. Would love to live in the area as this would be our local. 100% recommend if you're in the area

We found this place by accident when camping for the weekend on a site a 30 minute walk away. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the menu choice was very good indeed. We had fish and chips, pie of the day ( steak and ale) and chicken burger and chips, all of which were truly delicious! We tried a guest ale, which went down really well, too! We can't comment on the desserts, because we were too full to try any! Another great thing about The Lugger was the live music( on Saturday nights) which we enjoyed for a while. This pub is child and dog friendly, and I would highly recommend.

Found this little gem for our last meal on holiday with friends and wish we'd found it sooner! Food was amazing! Atmosphere amazing! Couldn't fault the staff who were busy but still had time to chat with our lively table of 12 😊 Definitely recommend and will be going back when we next visit Weymouth.

My husband and I had an amazing meal at the lugger inn . Everything on the plate was utter perfection, it was our best eating out experience. The staff were really nice and the service was very good . The chef should be complimented and I can recommend anyone to dine out at the lugger inn. 5* perfection. Food to amaze your palate !!!! Hotel meals and beers, you can literally achieve all human functions in this place. Sleeping, eating, drinking, toilets and biscuits for the dogs. Bar keeps a nice man and they're very dog friendly. My multipoo really enjoyed taking the head off a few cold ones.

Really tasty food selection. Drinks, especially soft for the driver, NOT the usual ripoff that pubs and restaurants off charge despite paying no alcohol tax. Plenty of outside space across many tables and parasols. The only anomaly was an intermittent outside speaker that crackled into life sporadically.

What a fantastic little place this is. The food was excellent and the staff were all lovely. There's a big grassed area outside and a play area for children.

I would have give 5 if the room was a bit more taken care after. Super nice staff, super good food, super cute place, BRAVO FOR THE BAND! THE Wi-Fi was strong,if not stopped :) Overall was good experince, but a point to concider would be that the room needs deep cleaning (wall elements were dusty, carpet needs deep clean, update the TV may be), the bathroom was the worse-smelly and mould on the ceiling, tiny sink with only cold water the shower was with Karcher power 🙈 Last thing-the glass bottles from the pub were thrown every morning 8am-ish which is not very concidering to the guests with small kids. Whatever we were in good mood,so Big thank you for the hospitality :)

We absolutely loved it. We were camping just down the road and popped in for a roast on Sunday. It was amazingly tasty and quick service too. 10/10 all round!
