This is an amazing cosy pub nestled just off the main weymouth highway in chickerell. Came for work but stayed to have my lunch here... The smell was so nice as it was being prepared, I couldn't help myself. The very friendly staff had everything well in hand preparing for the start of the mid week carvery... Very polite and professional This pub is Dog friendly with treats and beds for the dogs to use while on site 🐶🐾 The Turks head has huge range of wines on offer to suit all tastes... Aswell as all the usual tipples. Refurbished last year to a very high standard, very tastefully decorated and as usual I was privy to go behind the scenes... the kitchen was spotlessly clean and the multiple chefs were busy preparing a fantastic array of fresh food for the carvery deck. Really worth a visit if in the Weymouth area... I would highly recommend.

The Turk's Head Inn is a traditional family-friendly pub located in Chickerell near Weymouth. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a delicious meal with friends and family. The pub is operated by Mark and Debbie, who are the most welcoming and friendly hosts you could ask for. They are always happy to chat and make you feel at home. The pub has a large selection of beers, wines, and spirits, as well as a full menu of pub classics. The carvery is particularly popular, and for good reason. The meat is always cooked to perfection, and the vegetables are fresh and crisp. There is also a wide range of sides to choose from, so you can create your own perfect meal. The best part - you can order one to takeaway! Overall, the Turk's Head Inn is a great place to visit for a delicious meal, a drink, or just to relax and unwind. Mark and Debbie are the perfect hosts, and the pub has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

Valentines meal was gorgeous! We both had the 3 course meal, however the dessert portion we found to be huge and struggled to finish it but it just makes it even more worth the money we spent!

We visited on a Friday evening in August whilst staying at a campsite, a 30 minute walk away. The food here is very tasty. There were a number of burgers on offer, and plenty of other meals, too. We chose 2 burgers and chips, and fried halloumi, chips and peas. The skin- on chips were yummy! For dessert we had Berry Eton Mess, and warm cookie dough, which was like a giant chocolate brownie! The staff made us feel very welcome.

Wow, the best cottage pie I've EVER had. American burger with pulled pork also outstanding. Called in on the off-chance. Meals came quickly and staff were lovely. Can't wait to come back.

Had roast beef, the best pub roast I've ever had! Vegetables included were swede, carrot, red cabbage, green cabbage, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes with tender beef slices, Yorkshire pudding and plenty of gravy! Very good value for money. Also, dog friendly too! Book a table as very popular pub.

We came here on Sunday for a takeaway carvery. Oh wow, it's delicious. They carve out your meats for you (choice of 4, you can have one of each, pork, ham, beef and turkey). Then you move on down the line and help yourself to your veggies (roast spuds, carrots, cauliflower cheese, broccoli, cabbage, stuffing, Yorkshire puddings the size of your hand, carrot and swede mash, gravy you serve into separate tubs, I'm sure I'm missing other veggies). We often have enough left over for the next day. Such a good meal here. If you're dining in, book a table, it's highly popular. Would highly recommend.
