We have come here a few times now for food and drinks only not staying at a room. Such a lovely spot to sit outside and have a few drinks in the sunshine. Staff are relaxed & friendly. Food has always been good too! Our go to spot!

Stayed here many times throughout the years and never disappointed! Great bar and excellent heated outside terrace. Only one observation, I'm not mad on the fried egg at breakfast! Too much pepper and overcooked. Prefer over easy... but that's just me!

Lovely clean pub. Obviously an old building but looks like it has been recently modernised and "gentrified". Greene King pub, so the usual beers are available with the notable exception of IPA which is one of GK's staples, so an oddity here. They even have a range of non-alcoholic gins for "mocktails"! Located in South Street with a bus stop servicing several routes right outside the front door.

Came here for the Chichester City Sounds festival and enjoyed Live music as well as a delicious, luxury 3 cheese toasty. It was nice to be able to order food to the bar, plenty of seating available. There is a Smoking area with heaters out the back and a car park right behind the venue. A good friendly vibe all round.

Really enjoyed a tea out with friends. Lovely staff & good service. They didn't mind us changing tables (a lot!). I had the sausage & mash, which was delicious 😋. A small tweak I would suggest is to serve 2 X good quality sausages as oppose to 3 that were slightly under-whelming. Will return ❣️🙂

It's very expensive to drink in here even though it's a green king pub 6 pound+ a pint but a nice beer garden to the side

We are here for an overnight stay in Chichester to celebrate 34 years of marriage, we popped into Trent’s for a light lunch, staff very welcoming and food very tasty, Angela our waitress was outstanding with a lovely friendly and engaging manner, will definitely call in again as we frequently visit Chichester living not to far from here.

We ate at Trent’s on Saturday evening. Despite the restricted serving time- kitchen closed at 8pm (imposed by Head Office) Thom the manager took our order from the restricted menu. He ensured that both our drinks and food were served very pleasantly and to a good standard. Our great thanks to Thom for averting a possible problem and making our experience so enjoyable. Thom is a credit to GK and his attitude deserves recognition by the company.

What an amazing time spent at Trents! Jay and the team make this one of best places to go for a pint in Chichester - Kudos to your team! Everyone was having fun, even on a busy (and extremely hot) afternoon I couldn’t fault anyone. The food coming out of the kitchen looked delicious and didn’t see any food left on plates being collected. We will definitely be back very soon! And I encourage you to as well

Beautiful garden in the sunshine, enjoyed a bottle of Prosecco at lunchtime last week with some colleagues after a promotion at work. The man who served us was called Jay, and seeing his name at the front door I’m guessing he is the manager. What a lovely man, asked us what we were celebrating and congratulated me on my promotion. Every time he was near our table he made time to chat with us and make us feel extremely welcome. Me and my colleagues will be back very soon for more after work drinks!!!
