The Hole In The Wall Ale And Cider House - Chichester - Photo album

What a find. Stopped in there last night for dinner ahead of picking up the south downs way where we left off. Great food, and some very nice ales. Then, to top off, it was their open mic night. It was a joy to watch as Sarah (I think that was her name), not only performed some great numbers with th
One of our go to pubs for an after work drink, great selection of beers to choose from. We also enjoyed the open mic night on a Tuesday a few weeks back which was so much fun. We had a roast there today, the beef and lamb were delicious. Only rating 4 stars as the manager who we had for food service
Joined in their street party. Didn't partake in food but sampled plenty of the beers. Fabulous village atmosphere. The band seemed to carry on for hours with limited breaks. Well done to them! Staff friendly and efficient. A general good vibe about the place.
Excellent food, ambience, incredibly kind and friendly staff. But why do the staff feel it's acceptable to use foul language when they're chatting within earshot of customers? It's a real shame in such a fantastic pub/eaterie in Chichester. It's making me question whether I really want to return, de
We’ve popped in for a drink and liked the place a lot. Great variety of real ales, local beers and ciders. They have a nice collection of vinyl and it was a pleasure to listen to the proper music. Thank you guys for putting your heart into your job.
Fantastic pub! Huge selection of craft beer and cider. Decent menu. Music night was fun. Nice staff.
A pub, a real pub. Good beer, good food and an open mic night on Wednesdays (Sorry, its on Tuesdays and kicks off at about 8:30pm). Is there anything better after a good day wondering about than to plonk your arse down in a pub where the staff are friendly, the beer excellent and the food hearty.
Great place, great beer and cider selection, great food!
Apart from the dreary Motown playing (I'm not a fan), it is a nice cosy pub old fireplace and a good selection of drinks on offer, surprisingly a decent Harvey's Best Bitter which was well kept. Staff not over friendly but allowed me to sample ale before purchase. Plenty of comfortable seating, sham
Proper English pub in the center of Chichester. With the history of this place going as far as 1742, they had a plenty time to figure out how to do what they do best. Excellent selection of beer, cider and ale served in great quality. They also serve food, however the menu is designed to compliment
Great pub and super friendly staff. They host a full-band Open Mic on a Tuesday and it's by far the best night out in the city; rammed full of good people. Highly recommended 👌
Great pub good food lovely staff great music 🎶
This is one of my favorite pubs! 8 cast conditioned ales, 4 ciders, a GLUTEN FREE cask conditioned ale that was very good, many taps that are regularly changing, all vinyl music, welcoming, friendly staff, adorable building, even a dog treat station! I did not try their pub food, but look forward to
Lovely staff and great real ale, the bar staff were extremely welcoming made me want to stay way past kicking out time, the girl behind the bar with cool dungerees was particularly great at making my time at the great (give her a raise)
Love this place, very friendly and welcoming staff and some really nice craft beers. We always pop in with our cocker spaniel whenever we are in Chichester!
A fabulous place, I would recommend calling in. A great selection of real ales, craft beers etc. The person who served me was very knowledgeable about the beers. They asked what style of beer I liked, made suggestions and offered samples. The choice I picked based on their suggestions was excellent.
Lovely meal. Food was lovely. Service was brilliant although the poor girl was run off her feet! I felt for her but she was lovely and very attentive. Would deffo visit again.
