Amazing. I'm dairy & soya free and chef prepared me my own afternoon tea. Amazing food and amazing service.
I have just taken my mother here for a surprise day out, and loved it. We turned up and some how the reservation actually hadn't been booked right by the staff, but the young man who served us was very apologetic and sorted things straight away! We were so so stuffed from everything we almost had to be rolled out the hotel, as the selection was just fab!! Touch too sickly for me, but I still gave it a very good go! I will be booking to treat my nan to an afternoon tea very soon!!!

We have stayed many times however this time we had dinner at the hotel. Food was lovely however the lobster extremely small for the price and only comes with a side salad. Husband enjoyed his steak. Drink choice has changed since we last visited which is great as much more choice on cocktails now! Staff are always friendly, attentive and professional and food was served promptly however not rushed. The only down side is that there is no atmosphere. Only another two couples in the restaurant and was very quiet. The harbour hotel is definitely our top place to stay in Chichester however not sure if we would return for dinner sadly.
Booked to have afternoon tea in the restaurant and the whole experience was amazing. We were met by a lovely lady with a beautiful smile, unfortunately I didn't get her name, and promptly shown to our table. The sandwiches were delicious, there were about 6 fingers with various flavours,various cakes and 4 delicious home made scones that were still warm! We were given two cafetiere's of coffee and were topped up when empty! The whole experience is such good value at £20 per person. Would definitely recommend this place for a special treat!
My new favourite place in Chichester! Can’t believe I never knew how wonderful it is for a meal! Gluten free fish and chips with a glass of Prosecco on a Friday evening for just £15?! I’ll be visiting frequently!
The cheese soufflé is also gluten free and delicious!
We were in Chichester and decided to visit the Harbour Hotel (formerly called The Ship Hotel) for coffee and bar food early evening on Sunday. The bar area is nicely decorated and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the food and drink were very good. All in all, a nice and relaxing visit. Will visit again one day soon.
2nd time we have been to The Harbour. Lovely choice at a reasonable price. Tables well spread apart so you feel safe and private. Very good waiting staff.

Went for dinner to celebrate a birthday. Restaurant has high ceilings, is light and airy, not crowded with tables so you have space and can hear yourselves talk. The service was excellent, staff were chatty, fun and friendly. The food was excellent. Good menu, beautifully presented plates. Really good value for money considering the standard of food. would definitely go back, and recommend it highly.
Enjoyed a delicious 3-course meal from the new à la carte menu. The food was excellent, and there was a good selection of cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. Staff were friendly and helpful, and service was quick. We were even given a glass of complimentary fizz at the end of the meal! Will definitely be returning.
The food at lunch on Sunday was extremely good. It was a pity that the waiting staff were not properly trained.
Such as asking the oldest person in the party for her choice first. Then I had to point out to a very young inexperienced girl waiter that would should not pass food across the table if one was able to serve from the side.

This is a first class hotel,i would recommend it to anyone. Limited parking but thats because its city centre.
