Very tasty, delivered on time and reasonably priced.Also very helpful as I needed gluten free and they altered dishes so they were still very tasty but without the gluten.
We have been using Number One since it opened in the late 80’s and it continues to be our favourite Chinese restaurant and takeaway.
This small family run business has worked hard through the pandemic to adapt, and has transformed itself to take away only (where many others may just have given up and closed) - which the Witterings are very thankful for, as the food is always fantastic.
I cannot recommend this highly enough for its friendly, efficient service - and of course delicious authentic food!
Have been using this lovely little take away for almost 8 years now. Can’t fault them in any way. Always polite and friendly ! And the food is delicious always hot and tasty. Delivery is always quick and on time .Our go to Chinese would highly recommend.
My favourite take away, I now refuse to eat Chinese food from anywhere else as it just doesn't compare. Think I've eaten most of the menu now and never had a bad dish. Staff are always friendly and happy to help if ordering for special dietary requirements. Still have no idea how they deliver it just as hot and tasty to my home 20 minutes away as they do to my mum's less than 5 minutes away.
THE BEST Chinese takeaway, not just locally but that I’ve ever had. You have to try the Crackling Pork and the Prawn Toast, I promise you won’t have had Prawn Toast like it before 🤩 😋

Used No.1 for many years, never a bad meal only comment check order as have had to pop back in the past to pick up missed items when using take away. Otherwise fantastic. Always my birthday meal! Friendly staff, food hot and tasty. Hard finding anywhere else as good!
