Stopped here for tea and cake while riding on the centurion way.
Very friendly welcome and staff seemed really nice.
I had one of the sausage rolls, which was amazing.
Nice out of the way tea and coffee shop which is also a mini convenience store, lovely selection of snacks hot and cold drinks in one of the most idyllic settings.... If it wasn't for a card only option for sure 5 stars
Stopped for afternoon tea and cake. Good quality tea and cake. All served by a smart and friendly young man. Enjoyable finish to a day's bike ride.
Perfect stop on a cycle ride or walk. Outside and inside tables, table service, proper tea in a pot, bike stands and bike tools, impeccably clean toilet, amazing cakes and flapjacks. I’ve always felt welcomed and enjoyed a stop here.
Delicious coffee and the kind staff found me a USB plug to charge my Garmin so I could navigate home before it got dark. Thank you again
Very cute shop and excellent chai tea latte. The locals are also very sweet. My grandmother was so happy to come to this side trip and see the surrounding homes. I loved to see that were was a place to tie up your dog on the patio.
Thank you for doing a special non bread breakfast for me today and great bacon butty as usual, thank you also for the extra Birthday choc brownies, what a lovely surprise! So kind and thoughtful, we had a lovely breakfast for my mums birthday at the trundle. She had a lovely day. Cappuccinos good too. The sponge cake was gorgeous, just made the day! Thanks will be back.

Agree with other reviews. Not very welcoming and quite abrupt. The girl that brought our food out, was however very polite and cheery.
Setting wise. Beautiful. Food wise. Fantastic. Price wise... its on the higher side. But given the quality, I was satisfied with the price vs quality of ingredients and what I got.
I'd go again. For the scenery and food. Despite the rather unwelcoming atmosphere. Which I'm putting it down to covid stress.
A little disappointing! I have been here several times and have always been happy . I ALWAYS order hot chocolate, the first time there I checked that it was made with milk and not water. On Saturday there was a group of us cyclists. I ordered hot chocolate as usual and when it was served it was made with water! Undrinkable for me.
Stopped in this afternoon for a coffee ( August 17th). Unfortunately I only had cash with me, & like many other businesses, card was the order of the day.
A very generous customer stepped in & offered to pay 😊👍.
