Living in London as a coffee blogger I have high expectations, and the Coffee Van in Draper's Yard absolutely killed it! Absolutely made my visit to Chichester being able to come here and have a gorgeous flat white, as well as a lovely chat with Mel.
There is absolutely nothing about this place that I could fault. Absolutely wonderful! If I could give it 10 stars I definitely would! <3
We finally managed to visit Common Grounds and we were delighted. Ben knows how to prepare the best coffee (I had a cortado as good as the ones I have in Spain or Italy) with the best ingredients. The place is cosi and bright, in a quiet spot just a few steps away from the business of the High Street. Perfect for a break! We will be back :D
What a fantastic addition to Chichester.. very smart, super friendly cafe with superb coffee and customer service... I kind of want to keep it to myself as a sort of secret coffee retreat, but it's too good not to share! Go.. you won't be disappointed.
Had an amazing Iced coffee here the other day! Heading back for more Tiffin too! Seriously yummy!
Best coffee in town, and as for the tiffin.... yum!
The panini's and cakes are always so good! Thank you
I've been a regular visitor to Draper's Yard over the past month and always have a coffee or two and a snack or a panini. Danielle is cheery and very welcoming. Highly recommended! And excellent coffee too!
The setting is unique, the people are friendly, the coffee was fantastic and that chocolaty thing with honeycomb in phwar!
I am so lucky to work right here next to Dannielle! She and 'George' make the most wonderful coffees and panini in a quirky vintage Citroen HY Van. And don't get me started on the cakes....
Such a quirky little van in a great spot! AMAZING pastries and 'bloody good' hot chocolate!
Nowhere else does coffee taste SO delicious out of a paper cup! Great food too and lovely service
Definitely the best coffee (Clifton Coffee) in Chichester in a small independent coffee shop just off Little London. Home baked and shipped in cakes - my favourite is the cheese scones.
A steady stream of office workers show they are building a reputation for take out coffee too.
Friendly owners.
They have very good coffee and decoration. I tried their flatwhite and it was really good taste of coffee. It is on the backside of the main street so you have search for it literally. It worths the try. It is really small thought and I’ve seen so many people grab their drink on the go. If I were a local, I would be a regular costumer.
This independent coffee shop is a destination for coffee lovers. Hands down the best coffee in Chichester with an amazing array of cakes & pastries. Wonderful service and friendly staff. Such an asset to the city.
I've only discovered Common Grounds in the last couple of months ago and I'm so glad I did! I used to live in London and have struggled to find any local, independent coffee shops where the coffee is genuinely good, but Common Grounds is better than any of the London coffee shops I used to go to! The staff are clearly very passionate and knowledgeable, as well as really friendly and welcoming :).
Best coffee in Chichester.
If you like proper coffee, this is the place. They are professionals and always give you the best coffee with amazing art latte too.
The cakes are really good as well and the staff is always polite and smiling.
Thank you for putting so much love and attention in what you do
Super cute and trendy little coffee shop that focuses on excellent coffee! And it delivers. We dropped in for a Chai Latte and Dirty Chai. Super friendly service, super chilled environment, and gorgeous cuppa. Fresh water delivered to the table with our drinks, and friendly chat from locals and customers.
Been coming here for years now, and the coffee is consistently excellent! (For context, I’m from Melbourne AU 😉) Such friendly staff too. There’s not a huge amount of sit-in space but just get a takeaway and wander around beautiful Chichester 😊
Best coffee I’ve tried to date, love the baked goods especially the raspberry & white chocolate cookies. All staff I’ve met are very friendly & helpful, love this lovely coffee shop.
This was an amazing place, coffee and cake selection were both outstanding, as was the taste of both. Lovely staff who were so accommodating. Sat outside on the bench, and enjoyed watching the world go by for an hour. All in Chicester should visit this lovely little place.
A nice little hidden treasure in Chichester.
The coffee (espresso) was very nice, the staff friendly and they also sell a good variety of coffee beans and coffee gear (drippers and filter papers etc).
