Lovely Jewell in the South Downs - 4/5th visit Stunning food, ambience, setting! Kids treated us for Father's Day, win win for me!! We had all sorts!! All 3 sharers! The best Camembert EVER... we are experts! Never had the top skin removed and then grilled!! Had lobster, lamb and steaks! All Devine!! And In the same building Jerusalem was penned by William Blake! Think posh pub! Posh ingredients and a verydiwn to earth vibe!! This wasn't but look out for groupon deals we've used these too!!! Looking forward to our next visit! It's not often we travel 40 mins for a meal- but they're worth it!!!

Fabulous food, had the set lunch menu, it's hard to choose because they all look so good. Our waitress was lovely, really friendly, as was all the staff. If you live in Chichester, lucky you, worth a trip out if you're not close by. Lavant is a pretty village & not far from Goodwood if you're going racing.

Who said salads are boring !!! Not here they're not ... The most beautiful healthy classy salad, so tasty and full of interesting things, And the fish and chips were pretty awsome too .. All finished off with a lovely glass of wine in the garden watching the planes dart around the sky's ..... Just perfect ❤️

Why do we live so far away. Since the ever young Giles took over the quality of the food and service has risen every year. Rabbit, local crab main course and well chosen wine make it well worth the journey.

As the awards stack up... it's easy to see and experience why? Giles, Ruth and the EOM Team are simply brilliant. Our third year at the Revival brings us once more to this jewel in the South Downs. The ambience and food is always top notch and with an array of drinks and fine wine to complement, it's always hard to take that taxi home. Once again we thank you.

A wonderful hostelry with an outstanding view of the South Downs and prices to match. Excellent dining in a large dining room with a well heeled clientele.

We visited here on a Monday lunchtime when the team had been taken by surprise with it being much busier than expected. Despite this the service was very friendly and added greatly to our overall enjoyment. We tried quite a few of the dishes on the menu and all of them were incredible. The presentation was beautiful and the taste certainly did not disappoint. Highly recommended if you get the chance, we would definitely like to return next time we are in the UK.

Nice country pub and main course choice looks quite pricey, but pretty sure that they are good quality. We had a family lunch there on a week day. Their light lunch menus is really reasonable priced. Enjoy my posh open sandwich and fancy cut vegetables and chips on the side. Kids menu is pretty big potion and quite health with vegetables. Staff provided friendly efficient service. We enjoyed our lunch here. Free on site parking. Small beer garden next to the car park. Nice view of the field from the beer garden. Recommend to all.

I'm a foody and I will be the first to let restaurant staff know if something is not good with my food. The food here is AMAZING. The Earl of March's chef puts The Ivy to shame. There is simply no comparison. Not only it's beautifully presented and yummy just to look at but it's SO tasty. I've been here several times now and never been let down so I thought it was time to leave a review. The food is not cheap but it's worth it. It's an experience you won't forget.

I’ve lived a 4 min drive from this place for nearly 2 years and had never been in as the vegan options were very limited but that is only at first glance! The chef loves to be creative, asking likes and dislikes then prepares the most delicious food! This is like no other food in the area…his attention to detail, flavour combinations and passion for what he does is outstanding! The staff team are equally amazing. Our server, Susan, was very passionate about us enjoying our whole experience. We’re already planning our next visit!

Pubs don’t get much better than this. The staff are lovely, the food is superb and the location is unbeatable when sat outside during the summer. The food is on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. Quite possibly the best lamb I have ever had.

A good country pub with delicious food. We stopped for a quick lunch on the way home from a holiday in Dorset and received a very warm welcome. The mushroom soup was extremely good, and the fish finger sandwich was something else! Essentially an open sandwich with filets of fried fish, plus chips on the side, it is like a mini portion of fish and chips, with a side of bread. Very tasty! Very friendly and helpful staff too.

The earl of march is a fantastic place to eat, we went for lunch. The service was excellent, the food was presented beautifully and was absolutely delicious. I'm looking forward to going back. Its a fine dining pub so it's not the place to go for budget prices, but the food was worth every penny.

It's been a long time since we've had a dining experience as good as we had at the Earl of March. The staff seem to be part of the place rather than just working there, and all made us feel ever so welcome. The locally sourced food was cooked to perfection and well presented on well warmed plates. Aromas and taste were fantastic.
