Had a fabulous meal here! Food was fantastic as always, cocktails are some of the best around and an expansive interesting selection unlike many places. The pork dumplings are amazing. The staff were top notch Matt was absolutely great as were all the other staff. Wish we got more of their names (guy with round glasses, blond lady on the bar), all fantastic! Having visited here before, we knew what to expect. My Pad Thai was well presented, tasty and hot, although the portion size seemed a little smaller than on previous occasions. To finish off our meal, we stumped for a dessert on this occasion. The pudding trio was very tasty, but I would not have it again. The price of their desserts seemed on the high side, so I would rather have their very nice ‘Salt and Pepper Squid’ as a starter and not have a dessert. That said, we enjoyed our meal and would recommend Giggling Squid.
Great menu and food is nicely presented, tastes good and reasonably priced. The interior is pretty but a bit over the top. Selection of wines by the glass is excellent so we could all pick a wine we wanted and didn’t feel the need to share a bottle. They didn’t have the wine my mother wanted cold however. Considering it was a Saturday night and quite early, I would have expected them to be more prepared. Overall good and I would eat here again.
