Pallant Restaurant & Cafe never disappoints! I've eaten there numerous times and the food and service had always been outstanding. The staff can recommend the right wine for your dish and always have a smile on their faces. The food as I said is outstanding and reasonably priced. It's become a go-to restaurant!

Excellent food served fresh cooked to order. Much prefer quality to quantity and Marco is a very good host. Made many visits and never been disappointed in any way with our meals and the service.
Great menu, including fabulous local pork. Delicious starters and amazing Bread & Butter Pudding, not to mention a special chess board!

This cafe is absolutely lovely. Attached to the main gallery. Cafe has three different seating area option, main dining room, courtyard (if the weather is nice) and the little lobby area of the gallery. Cafe is dog friendly which is perfect. We loved everything we ate. Fresh ingredients and flavour. Sparkling elderflower was really refreshing and not too sweet. Very good service as well :)
It is the first time I have eaten here for many months and I was pleasantly surprised. Stopped for lunch and sat inside, outside was already busy and all the tables were reserved - note: if you want lunch, best reserve a table, especially if you want to sit outside on a lovely summer day.
The service was okay; the servers were attentive and the food and drinks arrived quickly.
The food was appealing and tasty, though the lunch menu lacked choice.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would certainly return.
Accessibility: I use an electric wheelchair and was hesitant I would find a space but the layout of the restaurant is spacious with room to manoeuvre to your table. The area around the front entrance is a little tight, though.
There is an accessible toilet available just down the hall which was well equipped and spacious and provided ample space for my wheelchair.
Wonderful sparking afternoon tea. We're both vegetarian and the food was superb - the tastiest afternoon tea we've ever had. The local sparking wine was also superb

My daughter and I shared a perfect afternoon tea together yesterday. The food was beautifully presented and tasted amazing and the service was outstanding. We were thoroughly impressed by our experience and the staff really made it special for us. I would highly recommend it.
A nicely decorated cafe attached to the must-see art gallery. Has a short but interesting menu and good cooking. The set lunch is good value. The cafe has both indoor and courtyard seating. Overflow tables in the foyer sometimes. Lovely staff but they can get a bit harassed as the cafe can get very busy. I'd recommend booking in advance.
Without doubt the best eggs Benedict I've ever had.
Friendly staff, great venue with a very relaxed feel.
To top it off the chef even came out of the kitchen to talk.

We had our wonderful wedding reception at the Pallant Café on Monday and it was absolutely amazing. The food was so delicious, all our guests commented on how incredible it was. The local wine and beer was sensational too.
The organisation was faultless and we had the most perfect time here, it really made our day special. As we were a party of 30 this venue was a perfect size, it was the most intimate and personal venue.
I have to say I was very impressed with all the staff but we have to say a personal thank you to the manager Charlie who was phenomenonal from the start. His communication was excellent and he really took the time to listen to what we wanted and delivered beyond our expectations. We are so grateful.
We look forward to returning in the near future and we know more of the wedding party will follow.

The cafe was diligent in ensuring that all our complicated dietary requirements were met from time or order through to delivery. The food was scrumptious and the atmosphere extremely relaxed and cosy

The city-centre restaurant is incorporated within Chichester's world-class Pallant Art Gallery but is also open outside of the gallery's opening hours. Very pleasant wine garden is an added bonus.
Sadly, there is no attached parking but there are plenty of 'pay and display' car parks within easy reach, although these can get quite crowded during the day.
Delicious lunch. Great service, very nice helpful staff. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.
London standard food and Service. Charlie is excellent. Will definitely be returning more often.
