Visited on a Saturday lunchtime with my two little girls and the whole experience was excellent. The children had their own little Afternoon Teas, beautifully presented on tiered cake stands, my partner had the Brie and Cranberry toasted sandwich which was absolutely delicious, and I had the chicken and bacon salad, lovely big portions, everything appeared freshly made and all dishes were thoroughly enjoyed by all. The shop is very quaint and cosy and the service is quick and attentive. Would certainly recommend a visit
I have dietary requirements, and I had the vegan afternoon tea with a friend. They were very good at adapting the food to suit my needs. It was all nice, but the scones were fabulous!!

Very happy to say that the new owners are carrying on the great work Carole did! Our first visit since it changed hands and delighted that there's just as much GF/Vegan choice...if not more! I'm severely gluten intolerant and my husband is lactose intolerant. Eating out is therefore often *very* restricted. We also had my stepchildren, a "tween" and 6' teenager so to please everyone is tricky! We hadn't (which is silly for Saturdays...so take note!) booked and had to wait a bit for a table but...it was most worth it! This was my gluten-free afternoon tea. Absolutely delicious! 😋 A lovely cafe with great character, delicious food and caters so well to allergies.
My boyfriend and I went today for an afternoon tea. It was amazing food, value for money and so many vegan options. The two owners of the cafe were accomodating, helpful, lovely and kind. You can tell that they put their heart into this business and the customers that support it. We left with two extra sandwiches to eat later and a free blueberry vegan croissant (which was amazing- we fought over the last bite!!). We love this cafe and would really recommend this. Especially in the current situation we are in, supporting local businesses even if it's getting take away food or a voucher for a gift is so important and especially when the owners are such wonderful and giving people too. Thank you for such a great lunch, we will definitely be back!!

This is such a beautiful family ran little tea room. Very clean, bright and inviting. Staff are extremely friendly, polite, welcoming and attentive, nothing is too much for them. The afternoon tea is to die for. All the food is freshly made and you can really tell. The sandwiches are delicious with a great choice of fillings. The scones with clotted cream and jam are so light and more ish and the cakes are amazing. The tea is also really nice and refreshing. Will definitely be coming again soon. 5 stars all round!
What a find! I ordered the stilton, walnut and cranberry scone - it was served in a little Sass and Belle suitcase and delivered on all counts! It was a meal in itself - scone, butter, cream cheese, a sizeable chunk of stilton and a little pot of chutney! Proper leaf tea too! Wonderful ambiance! The very pleasant owner and her staff are to be congratulated- can't wait to go back!!
Absolutely amazing tea shop. Recommended in a gluten free group as we were visiting the area. So glad we found it, so cute inside and the ladies that run it were so accommodating. Will definitely be visiting again ❤
Traditional tearooms with attention to detail, lovely atmosphere, beautifully decorated, traditional English bone china, excellent and friendly service, fantastic menu including a great selection of gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan. Quality teas and coffees, freshly home baked cakes, biscuits, fresh soup, traditional breakfasts, light snacks, lunches, something for everyone. Children’s fun parties are also available, a true asset to Chichester, we go there every time we visit Chichester. Cannot recommend enough.
We chose The Exclusive Cake Shop & Vintage Tearooms to supply our wedding cake and there is absolutely no doubt about making the right decision. The cake looked absolutely fantastic and was so delicious. Thank you so much for your efforts, we had so many lovely comments about the cake from our guests and I cannot recommend you highly enough.
Had a lovely afternoon tea here today, so friendly, great atmosphere, lovely food and mostly gluten free ( you wouldn't know!) All very yummy, will definitely be going back!

Brilliant. Great cakes and drinks, well worth a visit. Prices are good for the area and there are plenty of vegan, gluten free and other allergy free options. Toilets were clean and service was fast. Could do with a bit more space. 😎
Adorable vintage tea rooms, small and cosy but light and fresh, cute matching sets of tea cups plates and saucers, we had the most beautiful handmade scones with jam and cream. Lovely service from the ladies can't wait to go back again!

Always have lunch here prior to matinee at the theatre. Small but always delivers. Limited menu following lockdown, mainly sandwiches, toasties and cakes. Had ham salad sandwich, cranberry and brie toastie both came with salad and crisps. Then a stilton, walnut and cranberry scone with butter, cream cheese, chutney and blue cheese quirkily served in a 'picnic basket'. Excellent.

I'm not a veggie, but went with a veggie friend. There is a fab choice of vegan dishes as well as non veggie. I had the sweet potato and chick pea pate...it was delicious! Lovely vintage china used too and friendly staff....not a local but will def go again when back in Chichester.
Gluten free ...good range of GF cakes and baked goodies available here. Lovely little place and service. Loved the mix of cups saucers and plates. Had a lovely pot of earl grey tea. Thank you ladies.
What an excellent place. The service was good. They provided a minor change to a set order without any quibble. The amount of clotted cream served with a large scone was so generous that it was verging on a health hazard
