Didn't stay here, just popped in for a drink and ended up staying for dinner. The husband had liver and bacon and he let me try it and it was hands down the best liver I have ever tasted. Absolutely amazing. My pork belly was very good too.

Very friendly landlord and staff who are making your stay as comfortable as possible. The accommodation was beyond our expectations. We also booked dinner in the restaurant. The quality and taste was very good. A free car park is next door with a direct access to the pub. A very good location for a stop for heading to the airport in Bristol or to stay for a few days more.

Popped in for a pint and food and i was greeted by all smiles behind the bar , staff were very friendly. The position of the pub was excellent , right in the middle of the village. As the weather was beautiful we sat in the courtyard but there was a garden also . The cost of the food and drink was on the higher side but to be Frank the quality of the food more than made up for the cost . As pub food goes it was a 10 compared to the average dried up peas and rizla thin fish of the norm .

Excellent food. Nice staff. Good value for money. Good atmophere. We could stay on and chat without pressure to leave. We combined Sunday lunch with a visit to the stone circles in nearby Stanton Drew. We were there a couple of weeks earlier as well for a light lunch on our way from the airport, which turned out to be a very filling sandwich wuth chunky chips.

We stayed for one night with dinner and breakfast. The staff are very welcoming, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect for our needs. The bar and restaurant were great, quality pub food and nice options to wash it down with. Proper pub atmosphere that so many have lost these days. Breakfast was made to order and we couldn't fault it. Overall it was good value and great stay, I'm sure we'll be back!

Friendly staff, lovely room, nice breakfast. Good communication about roadworks but just a shame we couldn't sort an early check in as we were going to a wedding.

Ideal stopover for Bristol airport! Stayed here for one night before an early flight from BRS. Upon arrival young manager was superb, very accomodating and informative. Free village car park behind pub, accomodation is at rear of pub above beer garden but very minimal noise and no noise at night. Room was light and big ceilings, clearly refurbished. Food superb, varied menu without being too large. Fish and chips hit the spot. Will definitely stay again when flying early from BRS. One point of feedback would be a breakfast bag/box for customers who have booked B&B but leave in the early hours. Otherwise fantastic.

Lovely room and great food. Fish and chips was really tasty and the full English was excellent especially the sausage. The room was comfortable with an automatic light for the shower room. Shower was hot and powerful. Some people might struggle with the stairs up to the room I stayed in but was fine for me.

Ate hear as were staying in a local bnb before flights out. Lovely well presented resturaunt. Immaculate and friendly staff. Really nice food. We went for a selection of the starters only as didn't feel like a roast after a long drive, and were very happy with our choice.

Lovely local pub with super friendly staff. My room was very comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. I can recommend eating in the bar or restaurant. I had the haddock and the chips were amazing! The vegetarian breakfast was delicious and I would definitely stay here again.

We had a long wait for food on a recent visit and to be fair they didn't charge me for the mains of which by the way the food was amazing. Then I had email from the manager apologising for the experience we had and they offered me back for another meal free of charge and again the food was fantastic. I left a nice tip and will 100% be going back. All I can say is I am extremely impressed with there loyalty to customers and I highly recommend going you won't be disappointed. Thank you Bear & Swan
