Came here on the fly for a cooked breakfast and saw the coffees. Great selection and the coffee was out of this world. I ended up buying a bag and the lady grinded it for me. The breakfast was well cooked and the scrambled eggs were nice and moist, seasoned perfectly. A little dissapointed it didn't come with beans or mushrooms but hey ho I believe they offer quality. The bacon and sausage were very good quality meats not like some cafes where you can tell they're from bookers. Overall. Very happy experience, friendly staff and I'm very pleased that they're breastfeeding positive and not like other places where its frowned upon. Very very happy about that. Well done and keep up the good work. I'm sure another visit will be occurring rather soon.

I popped by for a quick snack and coffee while I was in Chesterfield. The cafe is less than 5mins on car from town center and located on a main road. The decor is definitely nice and cafe looked very clean. I had a tuna sandwich and cappuccino and it was freshly made and the customer service was impeccable. The staff asked for any dietary requirements and made sure the food served was on point. There is also a selection of blends available as captured in the picture. If you in Chesterfield, definitely recommend for a coffee or a sandwich.

Had my fav bagel cream cheese & smoked salmon. Fantastic. My friend had tuna sandwich, which came with salad coleslaw & crisps. Great food & good value. Also took 3 slices of cake to go. Also tasty & NOT sickly sweet like some you get these days. We will return.

On a walk down Chatsworth Road, we popped in for a bite to eat and a rest. I had a lovely filling Panini that came with a lovely fresh side salad, coleslaw and crisps which was perfect for a light lunch. My sister had the afternoon tea for one and enjoyed it also commenting on how pleased she was that she had extra hot water for her teapot and really appreciated a warm scone! The Victoria sponge I also tried was lovely and I even took some millionaires shortbread home for my partner who loved it! The service was brill, with both servers being warm and friendly. I also brought my 10 week old son along and felt comfortable and at ease topping off a lovely afternoon! Wouldn't hesitate to visit again and I hope to try out the breakfast on our next visit!

My birthday afternoon tea was scrumptious! Tasty dainty sandwiches with plentiful fillings, delightful scones with generous clotted cream and jam, finished off with lovely cupcakes. We had the Prosecco option which was very good. All in all a fantastic experience and I recommend this For any occasion 💝

Arranged with Tracey to provide a surprise birthday party for my wife. 18 guests. The meal was amazing with pate, salads and mains of salmon or chicken, followed by individual cup cakes and a bespoke birthday cake. Tracey, Kirsty and Jane were amazing and worked tirelessly throughout to make the party something really special. Absolutely brilliant day. Thank you so much ladies. If you're looking for a special place Cafe Nellie is an hidden gem you should explore.

Visited this lovely cafe last Tuesdays. Two babies 6 months old. The staff couldn't do enough for us. It's a little small for pushchairs but had one of the babies in a sling. The food was great had the bacon, cranberry and brie with the soup. Was reasonably priced. Could do with some ikea highchairs to make it a little easier as they grow, plus there super easy to clean but would definitely visit again. I think a lot of people seem to book but we didn't and didn't have a problem getting a table. We didn't need to use the restroom facilities so cannot comment there. The cake selection looks absolutely gorgeous as well. I'd love to come back for a coffee and cake! All in all a very positive experience.

Absolutely beautiful breakfast. This is not your typical greasy spoon cafe that serves up any old breakfast and hope you like it. This is more akin to the breakfast you would expect in a hotel but with a more personal and people friendly approach. High quality food at a reasonable price and all those little touches like your side sauce served in a little dish rather than a dirty messy bottle of sauce plonked on the table....like some places do. And on top of all that you've got very friendly owner and staff too that will look after you from start to finish. Highly recommend 😊

I went to Café Nellie for the first time a couple of weeks ago and have already been back twice since. The owner and staff are so lovely, the food is superb-we've had breakfast each time but I can't wait to try the lunches and cake! If you haven't visited Cafe Nellie before then I highly recommend paying a visit-you won't be disappointed 🙂

I went to cafe Nellie last week with my sister. It has a nice vibe and ambiance. The owner is a familiar face and it was good to see her. She is very friendly and welcoming. The food is really good, we both had scrambled egg on toast which was creamy and delicious. We will definitely be returning.

New cafe but just moved from up the road at Pekoe cafe. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely setting & interior decor. Service is great and the cakes & food are scrumptious. They do the best scrambled eggs and smoked salmon ever 👍. Coffee is very aromatic and smooth taste. Competitively priced and well worth a visit at your earliest opportunity ☕️🍰🫖🧁

Thoroughly recommend this beautiful cafe! Extensive menu which caters for everyone, I had the bacon, Brie and cranberry panini which was delicious! Brilliant range of beverages as well. I don’t know whether it was the exceptional food I recognised first or the very efficient, welcoming and polite staff but I knew that it was from previous visits to The Northern Tea Merchants which is also on Chatsworth Road, and on asking I discovered it was indeed the same manager that used to run the cafe in there! I will definitely be returning!
