I've lived across the road from this pub for nearly 2 years but been in for the first time today. Had the best burger π with cheese and wonderful bacon. The staff are fabulous and so helpful. Already arranged to go for a family night out to celebrate birthdays and honestly can't wait
Very good, on Mondays buy 2 pints get one half price. Got the cricket on, too. What's not to like?
We had a surprise party for our 25th wedding anniversary hosted by my daughter and son. Cosy function room disco excellent and buffet lovely.
Brilliant place had my wedding reception here. Landlords did an amazing job. Just love this place . friendly atmosphere to.
Travelled from Leicester for family christening. Received a warm friendly welcome. Pleasantly surprised by bar prices. Would recommend visit to pub and use of their function room.
If we're in the area again will definitely make a return visit
The owners are fantastic, I was really mesmerised by this pub. The deco and setting well done.

Had my 50th birthday last night and it was amazing. My guests had an amazing time, i couldn't have picked a better venue for my party but what made it was nicky and the staff. Was blown away at how supportive, friendly they were, nothing was too much trouble. The room looked fantastic. Cant thank you enough for making my birthday so relaxed and special xxx
Went to the Devonshire last Sunday to try Sunday lunch with my family after seeing it advertised online thought I would give it a try. The meal was excellent and served within 15 minutes of arriving although the pub was busy I expected to wait but that wasn't the case. The staff were very polite and greeted us with a smile and warm welcome. Got chatting to one of the regulars and he told me a new landlady called Nicola had taken over a view weeks ago and she was doing a fantastic job of turning the pub around. Would not hesitate to fully recommend the pub and the food on my excellent experience and enjoyable meal. Thanks Jack
Friendly local pub, real mix of ages, staff are friendly and the drinks a reasonable price. Very busy last night, every seat taken. Other than the noise it was a great atmosphere. π

Hired out the function room with the buffet. The staff are amazing and helped us sort the night perfectly. The room looked fab and the bar was great with an amazing selection of very well priced drinks

Very friendly landlord and staff.. decent priced drinks and a good choice for a local.... also very close to pizzas, kebabs, chippy, and shops.. perfect for the drunken stumble home.....
May 4th 2018 was our wedding day and we looked around at local venues to hold our reception.
We could not have found a better location.
The Manager and Function room Organiser Nicky went through everything with us so we knew everything to expect.
The function room was free to book with the Devonshire arranging the buffet reception & a brilliant disco with very knowledgeable DJ.
Nicky dressed the room perfect and everyone commented on how beautiful it all looked.
We bought along our own postbox for our guests to leave thier cards and good wishes and I've left the details with Nicky if anyone would like to hire it.
