Always spend some time here when visiting family. Good coffee and great service would recommend it for anyone who wants a nice experience with like minded people. Will be back next time for sure.
I'm really sorry to say this but it's not the Cafe Nero it once was. The staff barely know how to make a decent cup of coffee, let alone anything else!

I have been meeting my friend here for 10 years now, most weeks. Being an old building, it can sometimes appear a little shabby inside (but part of the vibe/atmosphere imo). Staff struggle to stay on top of tables/clutter when people have gone, but that's purely because they're so busy and popular.
I went there for the first time and had a nice hot chocolate and a slice of carrot cake I had to wait a bit to be served as there was a bit of a queue and the serving staff seemed a little rushed and the cake seemed a little expensive for the portion size you get. Popped in for a coffee before work, sat in with a take away cup as I knew I wouldn't finish it in time, great that the price is the same for staying in or taking out!
Nicest coffee about. Really good deals especially with vitality. Will do luxury lattes for your free drink. Most companies will only give bog standard medium coffees when it's your free drink

Modern and stylish Coffee shop sitting proudly in place of the old quirky bookshop that once existed in this building. The best coffee in Chesterfield, without question. Great atmosphere, great staff and great choice of decor.
Good coffee & decent pastries - it's the nicest Americano I've found in the town. The seating area can feel a bit cramped and the back room a bit detached, but there's usually a seat, even if it's busy. Dogs are also allowed inside.
