Great food and wonderful people mum loves it too the best Sunday dinner around
We held a surprise 60th party here on 20th January 2018 for family members of all ages. Excellent venue for a family party and excellent value. The staff were very helpful. The parking is limited but there is loads of free parking across the road.

The Carvery served on a Sunday is one of the best I've had anywhere.Full marks on everything plus everything is cooked fresh.

Easy access to parking and it is well lit.
There is wheelchair access to the front door, which leads to a public bar. I was quickly and pleasantly attended to, breakfast details sorted, and shown to my room.
The room looked modern, clean and adequate for my needs, with kettle and tea/coffee sachets, and a TV. Everything works very well and the walk in shower is clean and modern.
I noticed immediately the noise from the road as this room faces the front of the hotel, this persisted into the early hours (Sat/Sun) mainly from passing pedestrians and speeding motorbikes making their way home, so ask for rear room if this may bother you.
Breakfast is served to your requirements I.e. time, size and specifics. It's a relatively limited choice but extremely good value and very generous portions 👏

Called in for some food and a drink. We had the Wednesday special offer which was a lovely dinner and pudding for £6. Nice meat and vegetables and a good sized apple crumble and custard. Great value, with fast and friendly staff. What more could you want!
The rooms were very nicely decorated & very clean. Could have done with a chair in both the bedroom & bathroom. It didn't mention that our room was on the third floor, yes, I'm disabled.!! Food in the evening wasn't available as they had an event on. The "small" breakfast was huge & represented good value.
Newly refurbished and looking magnificent. First class service and lovely staff. A much-neeed venue in Staveley. They deserve every success. Admittedly we were there for a funeral wake but it was done well.
My friend and I came for lunch today to celebrate my birthday. OMG the food is utterly divine. The service excellent and the staff and other people there were so friendly. I will definitely be coming back on a regular basis.
The room was quite modern very clean, TV, and a good shower. There's a bar downstairs, friendly staff

Friendly clean pub great value breakfast only drawback on main road although we both slept well with window open so noisy
