Purchased fillet steak to make beef in Black bean sauce. Very tender and tasty. Previously bought the beef it is consistent in texture and taste. Unlike supermarket meat. Friendly staff.
The BEST pies ever!! Much more filling, which is the star of the show, than pastry. I can't stress enough how great these pies are...make a special trip!
We went to collect our meat pack for Xmas today, we had originally ordered a normal pack as usual. I was diagnosed Coeliac Disease 13 weeks ago. When we entered the shop we asked for a gluten free pack and the member of staff was just amazing. He spoke to us about gluten intolerance and how the shop work to assist those who struggle with it. Made me feel safe but also not an inconvenience which is how I usually feel. Thank you for your understanding and a Merry Xmas to you all xx
Absolutely fantastic Butchers, great selection to choose from at competitive prices. Staff are helpful friendly and efficient. We drive to Chesterfield especially to buy our meats and pastry products it's a lovely shop, always exceptionally clean and tidy and all products are well displayed. Well worth a visit, we would highly recommend Meadowfresh of Chesterfield.
First time I 've bought sirloin beef from here ( I've only just moved to Chesterfield). Wow! Like my beef rare. Cooked beautifully, and so easy to carve. Taste lovely. Will definitely buy from there again
Love this place, came all the way from Nottingham lol. The salt and pepper chicken kebabs were wonderful, best supper for ages . I wish there was a meadow fresh nearer , sometimes go to arrow farm or dobbies
Had the most delicious burgers from here. Fantastic butchers. Polite staff and they are stocked with a ridiculous variety of kebabs. You will be spoilt for choice.
Friendly staff in the shop and cafe. Good home cooked food. Meat pies are 1st class with plenty of tasty filling. All the food in the shop looks fresh and well presented. Staff are a great credit to your shop.
Absolutely perfect pies, sausages and bacon every time we visit. The team are so friendly and helpful each time we buy from Meadowfresh in Chesterfield, it's always a pleasure to call in. I would recommend their steak and Stilton pies - yum!

What a fantastic new Butchers & deli franchise now open @Dobbies Garden Centre Hampton, Peterborough. Greeted with an friendly welcome from Sam & Andrea, there was an amazing selection of fresh joints , steaks & sausages, & pies + deli counters on offer. Took advantage of some great value offers, the quality & taste was excellent, a foodies heaven, be sure to check these guys out, on your next visit, you will be in for a treat 😋
4 stars for the staff in this farm shop, all EXCEPT THE CASHIER who was the most miserable, unhelpful woman we have ever met in such a nice place. She needs to cheer up and lighten up, or find another job
