Best chips in Chesterfield, lovely cheese pie to. Friendly helpful staff . Friend had steak at lady who served it came a few minutes after serving to check it was to his liking and kept me topped up with mayonnaise:) Very relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be returning!
Went in for the first time in about 10 years today. Looks well after the refurb and decided to try a range of food. Wonderful food, Could tell everything had been freshly cooked, service was friendly and the wait wasn't long at all. The steaks that my partner and two teenage boys had were cooked beautifully they said, and the BBQ pulled pork dirty fries are amazing! We will be back again soon .

After all the carry-on with and the hangover from COVID, it's plain for anyone to see that this place is really trying hard to get it right and put The Boythorpe back on track. It is a safe and friendly pub to go to for a drink and some homemade food and well worth a visit! Would highly recommend.
Me and her indoors visited after it being recommended for good home cooked food. I had the mixed grill excellent! My missis had an all day breakfast, again the quality was bang on. Recommended

Returned today after years of waiting for the pub to offer food again and we weren't disappointed. The burger and chips for £7 was excellent and if this is how the pub is progressing with Debbie then we'll be back very soon.

Went in for a family meal, the boythorpe inn is a fantastic place for families with children, the food was absolutely beautiful, all home made and not over priced, the atmosphere is welcoming, definitely a place to go for a nice meal with children.
Great pint of carlsberg warm welcome , great traditional pub food . Highly recommend.
Lovely local pub got new management Deb was lovely,very clean nicely decorated the food home cooked the chips were amazing great new menu at great prices xx
