Customer Service was amazing! Not very often you get good service like this any more. Lady at the bar was really friendly and polite. The waiter I think his name was Nathan, he was very friendly , jolly and overall amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was very tasty, hot and we didn't have to wait long at all. The chocolate cake was also very yummy! The place was very clean and the atmosphere was nice and chilled. Will definitely be back!

There were a lot of children running about unsupervised by parents. Which made the environment noisy.

Food was good value for the price
The team at the Little Castle were all so friendly and welcoming. We arrived there after a long day of travelling, and we each opted for the carvery. It was really nice to see vegetarian options, as not many carveries offer this, so was really pleased with my option, and the fact that I had a choice as well really topped it.
The food was delicious, really what we needed after travelling for so long. The pudding was lovely and very comforting. My boyfriend and I have been there before, but over 5 years ago, and the service was amazing then, and amazing now. All the staff were smiling, and just really friendly.
If we weren’t so far away, it would be more frequent visits. We will definitely visit again. (especially to try the cakes in stand because they just looked yummy). Thanks again.
It was our first time visiting this venue for a cheeky Sunday lunch. Warm reception, all of the food coming out looked amazing. I had the mega mixed grill!, my partner had the cod and chips. Both were very nice. The three ladies that looked after us, Dawn, Faye and Kelly were brilliant, great fun, attentive, customer focused and very welcoming!. Think I've found my new " go too" Sunday lunch restaurant.

Positive: The young staff team were very friendly and welcoming, showing great respect and politeness throughout our visit.
Neutral: We were pleased to be able to bring our little dog but felt limited in the range of seating as only a few tables were in non-carpeted areas. It would have been better if we had freedom to choose our seating area.
Negative: Whilst my daughter received a freshly cooked vegetarian quiche, the beef was quite dry from having been standing warm a long time. Whilst some of the vegetables were freshly cooked and piping hot (leeks), others had been standing a long time and were barely warm (carrots, roast potatoes). I avoided the cauliflower cheese as it looked awful. The Yorkshire puddings were cold and hard.
On balance, this is a great place to come for friendly service, but the carvery really needs improvement if diners are to have the sense of being able to turn up at any time and be guaranteed an excellent meal. From my first experience, I am sure I would recommend the friendliness but not sure I could recommend the food.
A lady called faye served me. She was friendly,we had a conversation instead of what do you want. Knew my table number as i didnt.

Had a lovely experience at Little Castle. The food was great and came out really quickly. Would definitely come back here again! We were served by Amanda, Grace, Teigan and Holly, and the chefs were Dan and Sam.
I booked for a party of 14 and requested one family table if possible which they did for me. We were told when to go for our carvery meals so we would all be eating together as some people ordered off the main menu. The food was all really nice and fresh. I told one of the waiters I would mention him by name. Thank you Nathan. Also they brought my mum’s birthday cake out, candles lit singing happy birthday. We enjoyed it that much we’ve arranged to meet friends there this weekend for food.
All the staff were very accommodating and helpful. Food ordering was easy and the turnaround was very quick. Our server, Nathan, was excellent. He was really funny, friendly and welcoming and made sure everyone was happy with their meals. I marked food as a 4, only because the vegan and vegetarian options are very limited. Saying that the meals were lovely and the portion sizes were great (the kids korma was the same size as an adults portion). We will certainly visit again.
Food and service was pretty good will try again. hopefully next time it's a little better.

Second time was much better the food was really good. Piping hot and full of flavour. Previously the chips were cold and stale.
Service was better too, however previously we were right at the end of the shift. (even though online it said food served until 9pm we arrived at 7:50pm)
Hopefully it was a one off issue caused by staffing.
Cake to take away seems to take 15 mins to cut. So make sure you order it early to avoid frustration.
Will go back. Great value for money when they are on form.
Recently went back and wow what a huge improvement I had a carvery and it was beautiful. The staff was lovely and helpful and the food was amazing.
Came Sunday for a carvery the place is open at 12 noon. You can booked table or just walked in. The lady was really helpful allocate me a table because I have’nt book she let me have a table for an hour. Me and kids having a carvery. The food are freshly prepared. You can have as much vegetables as you like. I highly recommend this place. Clean and very good food. We enjoy our food. Will come back again soon.
We enjoyed a great Sunday lunch today. The food and service were excellent. We were served initially by Amanda at the bar and then she was also very attentive to all our different needs at the table. She was very friendly and welcoming and it made our meal very relaxing and enjoyable

Great personal service by all three ladies Dawn, Vicky and Faye. Really nice to have a personal feel to a welcome which is rare in these busy establishments. Carvery very good however the Yorkshire puds and roast potatoes felt rather overdone. Overall keep up the great work girls
Overall a good experience, chicken burger was nice and juicy. Mozzarella bites were gooey and hot, with plenty of the perfect accompanying chilli sauce. Only gripe was the table felt sticky and really needs a good clean, however we had just turned up after a party had left so can understand.
Staff were attentive and polite.
Food was lovely. Dan on the carvery was fabulous really welcoming, friendly and interactive with my kids. One uses.crutches and he offered to support with filling their plate and carrying it to the table. They really liked him and they don't usually interact with many people.
I was sent a discount voucher had nothing in for dinner and booked a table. Arrived at venue and asked for a table for two and showed booking reference. Ordered food and drink, paid using cashless and showed discount voucher. Everything fine good food and venue. Staff attentive and polite. Good experience had by both my partner and I. Will return in future.
