On holiday I'm frequently on the look out for nice cafes/tea shops for lunch or tea. I usually eat the same thing - toastie and/or soup. Often I'm disappointed. Toasties can be dull and soup disappointing. So I was very pleasantly surprised by this place in a quiet street i Chesterfield. The toastie was the best I'd ever eater (and the best value) and the tomato soup delicious. Friendly owner. Cakes looked delicious too. Chesterfield seems to have very few independent such establishments so this cafe is certainly worth a visit.
What a lovely place! I've been a few times over the last couple of weeks, and the service, the food, the smiles, everything here is lovely! Whether i order a teacake or one of the lovely Quiche meals, the service is top-notch! By adding a bit of fruit to the side salad (slices of grape, strawberry, pineapple and olive) the basic salad is transformed!
As for the Fruit Crumbles with ice cream for dessert, 10 out of 10 for 10!
Came for breakfast this food was incredible, staff were amazing. Couldn't recommend enough.
Nice chill Cafe with great food and back yard. We had a fabulous family lunch time there. I would love to go back again. One small thing,it is quite sad to get only one scone in the plate only. Most of the place we went,they come with two scones.
I have been in a few times to this wonderful place, always great, friendly service, wonderful food & a cracking cup of tea. Have taken my elderly mother here several times & she absolutely loves it especially the very friendly staff. It is the sign of a good place when the owners takes the time to come & have a chat with you & not just a quick hello but 5-10 minutes. I love the place & so glad we have a place like this in Chesterfield
Excellent cream tea in the afternoon. Service a little slow and it wasn't that busy. But the food made up for it. An excellent pot of tea too. Would definitely go back.
Called here today for a lunchtime snack, and what a find!! Best cheese scone I have ever had, even better than the wife’s!! Great service and lovely staff. If I could give 10 ⭐️ I would. Beautiful is all I can say.👌
Service is really slow, but the staff is friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is great to have a chat for an hour or too. Tasty coffee, delicious desserts. Clean and cozy. Would come again and would recommend visiting if you’re looking for a chill place to have brunch or snack.
Went here in a busy lunch time, will definitely come back. The carrot and walnut cake was lovely and more than I was expecting. The toffee sundae was very nice but the fudge/toffee pieces were a bit tough and hard. It was all a bit on the pricey end as 2 cold drinks + those desserts were around £18. The décor was very comforting and I could easily spend my time in there chatting.

Amazing portions loads of filling in the toasties,lovely home cooked chips,great hot coffee,clean nice surroundings and good service,above average prices but its worth it.

Been to No10 quite a few times, it's a pleasant experience for a spot of lunch. Shame about the sloping outdoor seating area. Food is good, at a reasonable price and service is good.

I walk past No10 when I work from my work office, usually this is before they're open, so often see chairs and tables been put out onto the front. I have many times thought of popping in and having a coffee and some food, on my way home, but had not gotten round to it yet, until today. Under the strangest of circumstances in fact! I was walking past, when my paper shopping bag ripped completely and fell to the floor, just outside the cafe. A gentleman appeared promptly from the door and offered to help by fetching me a bag. As I had my hands full, he very kindly took my shopping and swapped it to a new bag for me. He was ever so friendly and kind and due to his generosity, I thought why not pay the kindness forward by supporting a local small business and buying a cake. Well, once inside and seeing the lovely selection of cakes, I ended up purchasing three! They were very reasonably priced and absolutely delicious, I shared them with my family, although after having a piece of each, I almost ran off with all three, as they were super tasty! After chatting to the lovely gentleman, unfortunately I did not catch his name, we got chatting about some of the upcoming events and I cannot wait to book onto some of them, as they look very interesting and like a fun evening out. Thank you again for coming to my rescue and for making me believe that there are still lovely, kind people out there, that will spontaneously help you, out of the goodness of their hearts! I cannot wait to come back, thank you again.
Very pleasant place with great customer service, great atmosphere and great drink and food selection! Just being discovered today but I will definitely come back next time.
