Visited Saturday for my birthday having been before and the staff are so polite and welcoming and can't do enough for you they even come over with a guitar singing happy birthday to myself and also 2 others and even put a candle on my desert.The place is spotless so clean.We had a main meal each 2 lots of garlic bread 2 portion of chips 6 cokes 1 cocktail and 4 desserts all for£111 to me for an Italian that's fantastic value for a very very nice meal and was very full.Fantastic place highly recommend thank you to all the staff 5�����+

Stayed in Chesterfield over the weekend and booked here with friends on Saturday. First visit it won't be the last. Great place for my friend to eat as good selection of gluten free. The food was delicious and portion size good. The staff are friendly too. Can't wait to go back. Although good idea to book as very popular as we tried to get in before last min so booking early is a good idea. The food and drinks are good value for money too.

Beautiful food!. This was our first time this evening. The waiting on staff were incredibly friendly. Perfect timing between courses of which each one was delicious. This has now become our favourite place to eat. Thank you! �
I visited Lombardis Saturday night with the girls and as always had a wonderful experience. This is mine and my husbands favourite restaurant and I will go for any occasion. The food is always very tasty and you get plenty of it. The staff are very friendly and can not do enough for you. I will always highly recommended Lombardis to anyone that asks for a place to eat.

This is one of the nicest Italian restaurants that we have eaten in for a long while,the atmosphere and ombiance was great, the four of us have had a lovely meal, we have watched the kitchen from where we sat and they have been amazing, thank you Francesco and the team at Lombardis. �
We had a lovely meal here yesterday evening for my son’s 18th birthday. He was very pleased and surprised when the waiter appeared with a guitar and sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to him.
Chose Lombardis for my birthday meal with girlfriends. Cocktails at the bar. Excellent food and good sized portions. Nicely finished off with a complimentary limoncello. Good looking waiter too. Bonus. Thanx for making my birthday special.

Visited for first time tonight. Turned up without booking in advance (wasn't aware we needed too, my mistake ) but the staff, despite bieng busy were more than happy to seat us and let us dine , this was fantastic service straight off.
The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed , the service was 5* and the food was unbelievable !!
The waiting on staff were all very helpful and pleasant . Food pricing was very good also..

Always always a good meal served up here, nothing pretentious just good honest cooking of food that leaves you feeling happy, as good Italian food should be.
Like a lot of people my wife & I have eaten in lots of restaurants in all different places all over the world but I can confidently say that Lombardis is simply the best.
We've been coming here for almost 20 years and it was our first meal out as a couple on a blind date.
We just love it here and we'll be coming for the next 20 years.

Went to Lombardi's this evening with my girlfriend, we loved the food that we had...Calamari is a must also vanilla pannacota was lovely! Love how small and intimate the restaurant is, staff were friendly and helpful we will be returning soon!!!

As always outstanding from entering to leaving. Visited with friends who go every Saturday, I have been several times before, and simply love everything about it. Beautiful food, first class service, great atmosphere, I cannot find any fault. Maybe a bigger bar area would be nice, especially if you want to relax with a coffee after your meal. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Had a lovely meal here. It was my husband and I silver wedding anniversary. On 4th July. We didnt tell the staff. But the meal was beautiful. Nice atmosphere. This restaurant never dissapoints.
What an awesome restaurant. Very welcoming and friendly from the start to the finish. Beautiful decor everywhere and the food was out of this world! It was busy and had a brilliant atmosphere but everything ran smoothly. Love the pizza oven... Nice touch and the artwork and signs etc all brilliant. I really enjoyed it and I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area !
Lovely decor and atmosphere. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. Portion sizes are really generous and delicious. A little expensive but based on the portion size I’d say it’s great value for money.
I came in on the off chance that have a seat for a single diner on a Saturday. They were so inviting and I was happy to wait a couple of minutes for a table to be readied.
It was sooo worth the wait. The calzone was excellent and I don’t doubt all of their menu is. The Amoretto/I ice cream dessert was just heavenly - a lovely evening. Definitely a recommended spot to eat in Chesterfield.

Had a great meal at this fabulous independent Italian, food was superb with a great choice, service was excellent and great atmosphere, would certainly recommend booking as it was very busy when we were there, so glad we gave this place a try during our stay in chesterfield, highly recommended

Food was fantastic, couldn't fault it at all..every meal was excellent..
however, the service wasn't what we expected..
The staff were very polite but we waited 45 mins for someone to take our food order! And this was after we had told a young chap earlier we were ready to order..
Around 4-5 tbls of 2 walked in after us & all of them were served before us, and we're also finished, paid & had left before we even received our bill...an unfortunate blot on what was an otherwise good evening..
Just had our anniversary meal there, absolutely beautiful. Every member of staff were lovely. Portions were massive, iv brought home half my calzone. We will be back very soon, thank you for your warm hospitality. Love James and Charlotte x
Excellent! Booking was easy. Warmly greeted on arrival and treated to friendly service throughout. Food was super tasty, quite quick to arrive and large portions.
Drinks well matched to the menu. Reasonable prices too.
Children loved their food. Filled us up until breakfast.
