Lovely food,great place and very welcoming/ friendly staff.
I have never been here before but would highly recommend this place to others. It's very clean,tidy modern and fresh, the portion sizes are great for what you pay as well.
Came for a relaxed lunch today, I had cornflake crispy chicken and sweet potato fries. I can declare it to be the best chicken burger I have ever eaten! Absolutely loved it. Great atmosphere, attentive staff and top class food.🖒�

Delicious food that is clearly fresh! We went for lunch and we're served complimentary water on arrival. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Great looking plate of food! Would recommend and definitely go again!
Wow ,where do I start that was the best breakfast I've ever had and I've had a LOT of breakfasts , beautiful thick cut bacon , sumptuous sausage taste buds feel alive again after the disappointment that was the Milestone,will definitely be coming back to try all the other tasty things on the menu!

What can I say. It's advertised as possibly the tastiest food in Derbyshire. This is misleading. It is DEFINITELY the tastiest. I had the full breakfast Lily Pad style. Every mouthful was a treat for the taste buds. When you source the best ingredients and cook them to perfection you can't go wrong. I love you all

The Lilypad is both mine and my daughters favourite place to eat! We go at least once a week! Nice friendly staff and a range of fantastic healthy food and of course amazing coffee�!
Came to the Lilypad after seeing a post on Facebook about a sexual Hot Chocolate. I was not disappointed! The Hot Chocolate was incredible, the service very friendly and the food was fantastic too. I would definitely recommend The Lilypad!
Went in for a quick brunch after googling a place for pancakes. What a find. Decor is simple, with a homely feel. Service was prompt and friendly. Prices were fair and the food quality was fantastic. Could have easily walked out with all their cakes to boot! If you're in the area for breakfast, brunch or lunch I would highly recommend checking out the Lilypad Café
Fantastic brunch. The egg Benedict are delicious; the steak sandwich is just beautiful and the salted beef bagel super tasty. Highly recommended.
Just got back from here and we both agree we have just had the best meal we have ever had. The 14oz rib eye was out of this world as were the chips and onion ring's. The restaurant is lovely and there was an acoustic guitarist playing who was superb and helped make the evening even more special. If we could give it more than five stars we would. Once again thank you to all the staff who are so friendly. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Food great, fresh and filling. The food order was a little mixed up, but we sorted this. Had to ask twice for extra drinks/coffee. Nice relaxed place.
Drove from Belper to Chesterfield to try this place out! Had breakfast and it was lovely, I had Mushrooms on toast. It had goats cheese and cherry tomatoes with it, lovely tasting.
Cap parking opposite as well. Make sure you reserve a table this place gets busy!
Amazing menu. All fresh and beautifully presented. Shelley was very welcoming and her cakes are brilliant. Lovely atmosphere and so good we have booked for tomorrow as well.

Absolutely amazing food. It isn't cheap but everything we had was delicious. I highly recommend it. Portion sizes were generous. Had steak sandwich with blue cheese. Steak was medium rare to perfection. They'd put a really good portion of blue cheese on it too. We had sweet potato fries with it and wow! They tasted devine. Definitely recommend going and seeing for yourself.

A delightful place to eat... clean and airy and really busy. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I asked for something on the menu, but wanted it changing a little bit.. they obliged without any questions.....the food was delicious.
This was my first visit..... I wasn't sure what to expect from the look of the outside..... I will definitely visit again.
Excellent selection for both food and drink items. We ordered the Jesse's Hotcake (blueberry and ricotta), the Smashed Avocado (avocado toast), an iced vanilla coffee, strawberry & raspberry juice, and the hot chocolate special (toffee and peanut butter). Everything was absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself is light, airy, and relaxed. I'm docking one star because the service was quite slow and one of my drinking glasses was dirty, but I'm absolutely planning to return and am very excited to try out the other dishes.
Called for a coffee and ordered the steak burger which tasted fantastic. Shame it didn't come with a few chips or something the burger is by itself but is fully filled.
Also I like my coffee hot and the latte served was hotter than warm but I felt I had to drink it reasonably quickly before it was down warm.
First time of visiting the Lilypad. Very welcoming and friendly service. Fantastically innovative menu, very reasonably priced. Superbly cooked and well presented and tasted delicious.
Sadly, the toilets were a major letdown, clearly not being properly cleaned for some time. This would otherwise be a 5* rating.
However I would still return to the Lilypad and would recommend it.
Unexpectedly called in to Chesterfield town centre arriving earlier than expected. The Lilypad is opposite one of the town centre car parks and what a lovely surprise! We called in for breakfast and there was a nice selection of options, wonderful coffee and a very pleasant service which was both prompt and efficient without loosing anything of the personal touch. We enjoyed our breakfast, price was good and we will definitely go again.

Excellent breakfast and lunch on several occasions. The food is top quality and presented in a fine dining style but with portion sizes which leave you full. Highly reccomend any of the eggs benedict dishes. Prices reasonable generally, but very good when the quality of the food is considered.
Picked this venue for breakfast after an overnight stay in Chesterfield and was not disappointed. The only complaint would be that there was almost too much of it! The only other comment I would make is that the Staff on duty should be highly commended for their efforts in getting there with some 3-4 inches of snow on the ground. Highly recommended.
