Amazing food! Sooo tasty and very good portion sizes. We got the crab burger and calamari (and the skin on fries which were massive) but I believe the menu changes quite often so will be back to try as much as I can.

Had a great meal from here. Large portions. Well priced. The crab burger was amazing. The White bait was beautiful. Can't say enough about this place.

Martin's food is pure genius! I am addicted to The Sandbar. Best seafood in Chester for us. Portuguese cod fritters, his take on surf and turf, grilled mackeral with panzanella salad.. So many gems from him... Can't wait to be back! You are the best Mart... So incredibly lucky to find you in Chester

Beyond amazing. We had the crab burger and the special fries. I don't know what the secret seasoning on the fries is, but I've tried for several nights to replicate it. This place deserves to be a fully fledged restaurant.

Came here a few weeks ago on a whim, walking round Chester market. Easily the highlight of my trip! The softshell crab burger was so light, crispy and flavourful, with just the right amount of sauce and spice.
