This little place is an absolute star!!! We stopped in for breakfast on our last day in Chester, and what a treat. We ordered the Eggs Benedict, Protein Pancakes, and the Honey Badger, but with bacon and no eggs. Each dish was delicious. The portions were a very good size and everything was made fresh with wonderful flavours. My only disappointment was that I didn’t get the servers name to praise her as well. She was friendly, funny, and very welcoming. I wanted to stay and chat with her all day. Thanks!!! We will be back again when visiting Chester.

Food was excellent, best and freshest salmon, smashed avocado perfectly seasoned. Staff were really friendly and atmosphere was great. Also the view was lovely! (Not wheelchair accessible as far as I could see) very steep stairs ( just to take into consideration)

Busy on arrival, just towards the end of lunchtime, it was the day of the bad weather and floods, Chester was like a ghost town, rare for a Friday afternoon but not this lovely place, gorgeous chicken and bacon sandwich, a friend had spicy pumpkin soup, delicious. Great service, pleasant and friendly staff and the chef was keen to have feedback which was all very complimentary. Keep up the excellent work, I will definitely return x

This sweet, cozy bistro is a must when you visit Chester. Kathy was so accomodating and wanted to make sure our experience was unique and enjoyable. The dishes were made with pride in their craft. The food, service, and atmosphere is exceptional. It's a little hard to find, but just look for the signs. It's completely worth it.

I went to The Naughty Badger for the first time for a breakfast date with my doggo today. Food was DELICIOUS, and was presented beautifully. Staff were so friendly and accommodating, and Trigger even got his own sausage! 🥰 Cannot recommend enough 😋🤩

We enjoyed our lunch here in Chester. The cafe is hidden away upstairs. It’s small but cute. The staff are very friendly and the overall service was faultless. This place could quite possibly be a 5 if we all hadn’t ordered the soup. I mean the butternut squash and sweet potato soup was nice initially but the more you ate the more you got sick of the flavour. The mozzarella sticks on the other hand were fantastic (probably best I’ve ever had) and the chicken goujons were enormous and went down very well. It was a little on the expensive side but the quality was there. I’d like to come back here one day to give it a second chance.

The food was most excellent and highly recommended. Cooked fresh and delivered hot. Service was a little on the slow side and access up steep narrow stairs may be a challenge for some. They do serve down onto the terrace outside though. I'd certainly visit again.

Wow, what a find. Up a little staircase on the top row of shops. Lovely chef who is very accommodating with any food allergies or intolerances. They are dog friendly and do doggy ice creams. You can turn up on the day and advise your allergies and they can cater for you. If you prebook he has even more options. Food was amazing. The cafe was lovely with a fantastic view out over the old Chester street.

We stumbled upon the Naughty Badger today while visiting Chester. We had brunch sat on the verander while people watching. The food and service were great. I will definitely be going back to try the lunch menu whenever I'm next in Chester.

I'm so pleased that I took the extra schlepp upstairs to find this newish Café. Trusting to the hostesses' judgement, I went with the Honey Badger breakfast option (pictured), to while away some time on a rainy morning. The staff (most likely the owners) were very welcoming, engaging & pleasant, the presentation of the food was outstanding, it was good quality and satisfying. I wish them.every success and hope to return again before long.
