This place has everything, lots of variety for food and drink as well as a few stalls with interesting items that would be perfect for gifts. Perfect place to come as a couple or with family and friends, you can all have exactly what you fancy all in one place. Weekends are very busy, we waited a good 20 minutes for a table. When ordering food it was actually pretty quick service. Food prices were reasonable, the bar was overpriced however this is expected. Would definitely return ☺️

Lovely places to eat, lots of seating tucked away and good choice of vendors. Most of the stalls gave beepers to let you know when the food is ready

This warm and charming space has a diverse range of stalls to suit all diets. I got a hearty pad Thai from Thai By Thai.

What a fantastic market. Lots of independent stallholders, food and drink stalls (with a lovely open seating area in the middle), coffee, florist, butcher, fishmonger and gifts too.

We popped into town for a walk and bite to eat and ended up in the new Chester Market. We've been there a few times but never in the evening, so it was nice to see plenty of people getting food/drinks and enjoying the place. There is a good selection for all tastes and a decent bar in the central seating area. The food at Thai by Thai is fantastic by the way. Go and take a visit if you haven't, it's a very relaxed atmosphere for everyone.

If you are a food fan then the new Chester market is one you'll want to visit as there are so many food stalls to try. I personally did enjoy the old style market the city had, but this food hall style is definitely a really nice look for the right customer. Public toilets are inside as well as other stalls such as flowers and handmade crafts too. On my latest visit I even discovered a TARDIS haha, so if you are a whoivan like me you'll love this little find.
