Absolutely delicious and large portions, definitely coming back for more.

My husband loves his fish dinner here. My peking duck was a bit dry but still nice. The owner was friendly and personal to all the guests - she even gave me free prawn crackers!
Undoubtedly the best Chinese takeaway in Chester. Lovely food, lovely people. My only qualms would be that they don't deliver nor accept card, but that's fine, it doesn't detract from the taste. 5 Stars!
Great traditional pub with enclosed courtyard garden and darts in the converted stable. Well prepared and tasty pub grub. Staff friendly and welcoming. Cash only and mobile-free zone.
The food is delicious and simply amazing. It is the most humane food I have ever eaten in any Chinese restaurant. But fried rice and fried noodles personally feel that they are not enough. They have a feeling that they are not fried. I do n’t know how to say that. They always give people a taste that is not hot. I hope they can improve it! Golden Dragon can become a local symbol with Chinese characteristics!

Good fish and chips, although I'd recommend getting a small chips unless you're really hungry.
It's not very clear, but if you've placed a telephone order, make sure you let them know you've arrived.

Best Chinese take away in Chester area. The food is always cooked to perfection and piping hot. Prices are reasonable too. This shop is always spotlessly clean, which can only instill confidence in buying your food from there. Special with Kin Do sauce is to die for!
If you're a fan of large portions at cheap prices then the Golden Dragon is for you. The menu is extensive, offering traditional 'fish and chip' style options to Chinese meals aimed at the Western palate.
Waiting times can be up to 5-10 minutes but this is purely down to the popularity of the take-away with the locals, it's certainly worth the wait. The staff are also friendly and work hard.
Love this place! Food always delicious and great service! Would recommend the golden dragon to anyone looking for good old fish and chips and the Chinese meals are gorgeous too! Would not go anywhere else in Chester! Thanks guys!
Great fish and chips. We did go for 2 medium portions of chips each. Very large portions. Better to go for small portion each or one large to share between two
Far better Fish & Chips than some of the 'award-winning' local and regional emporiums. The food is freshly cooked to perfection and hot. A little gem on our door step.
I have to say read the review and decided to try out, surprisingly lovely staff and warm reception on 2 occasions I was there. Had only the house special fried rice and it is one of the best I have tasted from a takeaway.
