We came here a lot when we used to live in Hoole. It’s my go to place for Chinese food. Tonight we went back again after haven’t been here for a while. We got rice crackers, Peking Square Ribs, Sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, hot&sour soup and beef chowmein.

Just discovered this takeaway! Love the spring rolls that are freshly cooked on site. It is difficult to find veggie options in Chester but Ruby's has plently of tasty options. Very friendly service and good value for money.

Ordered Chinese takeaway from here for the first time this weekend. The portions were larger than other Chinese takeaways which was a nice surprise. We were told half an hour for delivery on the phone but this turned out to be more like an hour, and some of the food could have had a bit more flavour
Had the chicken chow mein,beef chow mein and a portion of chips. Very nice, great price and friendly atmosphere. It was our first visit.
Ordered from here last week, I ordered the chicken chow mein, salt and pepper chicken and the ribs. The food was absolutely amazing and staff are very friendly. I love how it is a family run business using old authentic recipes. Wouldn’t look to order Chinese food elsewhere :)

I’d lived in Hoole for 17 years and not tried Ruby’s before. So I thought why not I’ll give it a try. I wasn’t disappointed, it was very nice as good as any other decent Chinese in Chester. I will be returning on the odd occasion I’m feeling in the mood for a Chinese takeaway.

We've enjoyed Ruby's takeaways for many years. Friendliest service anywhere. Great food and wide choice. V popular with locals -always a good sign. Highly recommend.
