Been coming here for a few weeks with work commitments. Every time greeted with a warm welcome and pleasant smile. The food and service is second to none. Popped in yesterday for some food on the way home from Chester. The food was amazing and service even better, we were served by one of the managers Meg and she was great! Looking forward to visiting again soon
We choose to stay here last night as a reunion between myself and some friends, we had two rooms, we stayed in rooms 4 and 7 and both were excellent, clean and fully equipped with everything that we needed hairdryer, fan ect. It was also excellent value for money, we will definitely be staying again
What loverly staff, it’s run like a family hotel and we felt like special relatives.
The room we stayed in was good value for money it even had a bath, it was spacious and so clean we have paid a lot more for a lot less in the past. Between Oaklands and the quality of people in Chester we couldn’t h
Friendly place. Hotel rooms are comfy. Kettle in room, supplied with tea, coffee, sugar.
Lovely food in the bar. Staff are helpful and cheerful.
Only about a 15 minute walk from the train station, depending how quick you walk.
I would stay again.
The food was delicious. Great customer service from Tony, he was very friendly and helpful, a real asset to the company. Would definitely recommend 5*
Food was good, service from the staff was good, especially the service by a lady named Elaine, who attended to our table and went out of her way to make sure that everything we needed was taken care of with a smile, good humour and excellent service.
Only drawback was the limited choice of draught
Myself and friends met up for a meal. The staff are very nice. Elaine served us, she was lovely and very helpful and on hand to make sure everything was to our individual liking. We highly recommend the Oakland's
The service was amazing and speedy with the wait at the bar being under 5 minutes as well as the wait for the food being just 20 minutes and it coming out hot this visit exceeded my expectations and I will be staying their again and eating from their again
