Great pub, highly recommend. One of the few pubs in Chester that still has the traditions and character of a proper old fashioned boozer: dart board, live fire, great cask ale. If you're in Chester and you like pubs this place is a must

It's my go to local and favourite pub in Chester. No food, a proper "wet pub" Nice coal fire in the winter.

Wonderful traditional pub close to the bus station. Great beer, great prices, friendly staff, and a pubcat, though he wasn't about when we visited.
