Lovely pub atmosphere. Great staff. Good reasonably price beer and wine. Beer in exceptional condition
Great pub, highly recommend. One of the few pubs in Chester that still has the traditions and character of a proper old fashioned boozer: dart board, live fire, great cask ale. If you're in Chester and you like pubs this place is a must
It's my go to local and favourite pub in Chester. No food, a proper "wet pub" Nice coal fire in the winter.

A proper local with great beer. Always enjoy popping into this cosy pub
Wonderful traditional pub close to the bus station. Great beer, great prices, friendly staff, and a pubcat, though he wasn't about when we visited.
Great little pub. Stopped for a pint. After the races. Lovely staff and nice atmosphere 👌.
First time in here and what a nice surprise. Good selection of ales, very knowledgeable staff and just a good feel about the place. Rustic and cosy, just the place to spend a cold Saturday afternoon
Great selection of Real Ales Good quality Friendly staff Probably the cheapest pint in chester , apart from Tim Martins
