I never review anything, but I felt I needed to today after I visited chester for a couple of days and was struggling to find somewhere suitable for myself (vegan) & my partner. From experience, I've found very few places back home that actively cater for a variety of diets. I was pleasantly surprised to find I had several options for starter main and dessert; I had a lentil spaghetti and a chocolate-cherry dessert which were absolutely fantastic. I was incredibly impressed that the restaurant has taken the time to create a full vegan menu and a gluten free menu separate to the main menu. More often than not, I find myself in restaurants with chips and vegetables followed by a sad bowl of tinned fruit. I definitely recommend visiting this restaurant for the variety and excellent service. The waitress that served us had excellent timing throughout our meal, and was very positive and helpful. Would give more than 5 stars if I could.
Went for lunch and loved it. It's a small place that packs the food full of flavor. The ambiance is lovely as you feel like you are dining in Italy. The food is gorgeous and the staff is friendly and courteous.
Arrived late on what seemed to be a busy night. Seated and served drinks quickly, food was delicious, probably the best meal in Bella Italia I have had. No complaints at all about food, staff were fab, waitress was brilliant and they coped well with the amount of tables.
Went yesterday with our grandsons. They were very impressed and enjoyed all courses. My hubby had mushroom starter and grandsons had meatballs starter and I had soup. It was all absolutely delicious. The boys said maybe the best meatballs they had. The mains were as delicious aswell. (Carbonara the boys and lasagna me). A couple of sides to top up on. All Perfect and a sharer pudding. Staff were lovely and very helpful will definitely go back. Lovely place, lovely staff and lovely food. 👌🏻❤️👌🏻
Amazing food and staff very friendly. But the toilets was a let down toilet roll holder hanging off... Toilets wasn't a clean at all... Wouldn't have eaten there if I went to toilet first....
Lovely waitress Nancy I think, she was very pleasant and attentive without being overbearing. The food was absolutely gorgeous, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to even the fussiest of eaters.
Had a beautiful meal with my friend yesterday lunch time. The caramelised onion pizza bread starter was to die for!! And we loved the pasta main meals too. Full to the brim with great portions. The waitress who served us (sorry didn't catch your name) was very attentive and polite. Recommended to all for a lovely atmosphere and great food.

Amazing staff here, i am gluten free and the manager’s knowledge of everything was amazing, he made me feel safe and comfortable that my food would definitely be uncontaminated. The atmosphere was relaxing and the food was amazing too, definitely recommend coming here if you have any dietary requirements!! Thank you
I went while on a business trip and it was an incredible service, very helpful and lovely food perfect for Instagram. I definitely would recommend and be coming back next time
Arrived at short notice with no booking and was met by a lovely gentleman who managed to squeeze us in. Lovely food and atmosphere attentive friendly staff and prompt service from ordering to food arriving much appreciated as we were eating pre a theatre visit. Lovely cocktails too - Would recommend.
Great vegan range. Vegan pizza and vegan cookie dough and ice cream was very nice. Would definitely recommend. Nice cozy place right in the middle of Chester plus 30% student discount Sunday - Thursday was a bonus. Also wonderful service from Holly. 5/5 for Holly’s vibes. If we eat here again then I hope Holly is our waiter😎😎 and if you’re the manager of Bella Italia Chester and you’re reading this, tell Holly big thumbs up from us. Only reason for four stars is because some food seemed overpriced for what it was. £11.49 for pizza is good, but £4.29 for the world’s tiniest pot of average fries was steep.
Wonderful meal here. Both my husband and I enjoyed our meals, I had the Sea Bream and my husband had the Marco Polo.The staff made us feel at home, like good friends. We'll definitely eat here again.
Absolutely lovely rissoto and pizza. Got quite busy at around 7pm on Sunday but staff coped well.
Would recommend booking a table.

Had to wait along time for drinks, then starters. Food was fabulous. We had three courses for £19.95. Really good value for money. Tables clean. Servers friendly.

Visited bella Italia on 080921. We hadn't been for around fifteen years as our last experience in Leeds was a bit below par, however our experience this time in Chester was excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly and the food arrived quickly and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We will be visiting Chester again shortly and we will happily try bella Italia again
Took my Granddaughter to this restaurant, she fancied Italian cuisine and it was blooming wonderful, the food was excellent, the service was very professional, not intrusive but they knew when to approach you, they didn’t hassle or hustle you, it was just a very good dining experience and one will do again very soon.
