City Spice food is 10/10, service is outstanding. The waiter was happy to explain the dish.

I've tried the food from most curry places in Chester, but City Spice is by far the best!! The food is delicious, always hot and full of flavour. I wouldn't get a curry anywhere else now. Highly recommended 👌
Don't be fooled by its better looking neighbour, this is the place to go to for excellent Indian food, great service and excellent value. Looks aren't everything, right? Yes, the interior is a little sparse but the service from Hussain and the rest of the team was second to none. We've eaten next door in the past but won't from now on. Give City Spice a try and you won't be disappointed by the food or the service.

The best Indian in Chester by a long way. The food is consistently excellent. The service friendly and unfussy. The chef is awesome. We eat curry regularly all around the country and there are few that can match City Spice and its extremely rare a meal exceeds them. Forget Rusholme and Brick lane, this is the best.
Had a curry and I have got to be honest it was really nice one of the best curry's iv had in a long while I would definitely recommend and go there again
Nice Bangladeshi/Indian cuisine. Very quick service, given that they have lot of takeaway orders. Good variety of curry options. Food can be customised as per your preference. No desserts are served, which is a shame.
Excellent place. I was first here a few weeks ago with work, so a solo diner, and I'm back again now (still here). The food is delicious, I've had a madras and a Rogan Josh, both of which were beautiful. The staff are friendly and attentive too. I really like this little local restaurant.
Fantastic to find an Indian that delivers in Chester, great food too, lovely meal ... but crispy pakoras next time please! The free chefs special was beautiful, thank you! We will be back :)
Absolutely spot-on and very good all round. Chester city centre has about 5 good Indians and City Spice is in the top 2 or 3. The high points are the food is consistinty to a very good standard and service also very good. Well recommended. The gate of India next door seems to have a better name but my opinion is this is from their long-term customers but the City spice is certainly way better.
