Couldn’t fault this place in any way, food was fantastic, one of the best steaks I’ve eaten, hosts (Chris, Tom and team) were the best, very attentive to your needs and the live music was superb, wish we had seen more of them as only caught the last 45 mins. Highly recommend.
Hubby and I decided to have our 10tr anniversary meal at the opera grill. When my husband called to make the reservation they asked if there was an occasion. Why a lovely place, the staff were very attentative, the food was very tasty and cooked to perfection. The drinks menu is for all budgets! We were presented with 2 glasses of champagne and a board of sweets to mark our special day. I have to say from start to finish we thoroughly enjoyed the day and we will definitely return, even if we only want a drink- great bar area!
Phoned up 2 hours before booking on a Saturday and were accommodated very quickly. Had cocktail on arrival and fantastic meal (wagyu steak is v reasonable!). Did not feel rushed even though was busy night, first visit was 06/01 can wait to return!
First time we have been we ate at the bar great beer and wine great food 🥘 great service very well designed stunning inside would definitely return

Fabulous!!.... We were seated in the private dining area upstairs, complemtary champagne at our table, very attentive waiter who took care of us all evening. Lovely meal and live music throughout the evening. The Birthday Girl had a wonderful evening. Thank you.

Had an absolutely beautiful meal here with my partner, food was amazing steak was cooked to perfection and the desserts were to die for. The Staff were all lovely we were waited by I think her name was Lauren (sorry if that's wrong) she was lovely a real credit to the team there she made us feel very welcome and like nothing was too much. Would highly recommend.....
We were a party of 26 celebrating our Grandson's 18th birthday. The food was lovely and we had a great time. The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. We were upstairs and this was a really nice place to celebrate. Highly recommended.
Great little date night venue. We started off having a drink at the bar whilst we waited for our table. Bar staff we are attentative and welcoming.
We were seated upstairs and were pleasantly surprised by the live band who were amazing 👏 fillet steaks were cooked perfectly and all food came promptly.
Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice dinner spot in Chester.
Absolutely incredible food! You obviously wait for it Cus it’s made fresh but the taste! Incredible! My friend also allergic almost to everything asked Ella for some strawberries and she got it for her in few seconds. Service- incredible! Food - the same. And management? Absolutely fabulous! Love this place
Went to the Opera Grill in Chester for my husband's birthday, had a lovely evening Jonathan our waiter looked after us very well, he was very attentive, nothing was too much trouble, at the end of the meal my husband was presented with a lovely bowl of truffles and a candle. Would definitely recommend this place.

A great dinning experience in Chester, lovely staffs and the roof garden table is fantastic!! Ordered 2 starters and 2 mains, foods are nice!
Starters;
King scallops - Baked scallops are cooked to standard, juicy and fresh, cheese sauce not very cheesy, very well balanced dish.
Salt and paper ribs - Bit size rib, juicy and tender, coating is crispy but not greasy. It come with a spicy sesame sauce, which is well match with the ribs.
Mains;
300g ribs eye - ordered medium rib eye, it looks more like medium well on the table, but it is a quality cuts of beef, tender, well seasoned and pack with bbq flavor.
Wild venison - Venison is perfectly cooked, surprisingly the truffle mash is enhanced the taste of the venison
