Great pub, lovely staff, came here while camping on Chester racecourse during the yearly food festival, ate here a couple of times and not disappointed. Beer great, I recommend Marston’s if you’re a real ale drinker. Well recommended 👍

Another visit lunch time ,the pulled pork baguette and home made chips were tasty as ever , service was quick and friendly.Great pub ,few steps to gain access,you walk into the bar where their are tables and chairs for dining and just a drink, their are other rooms in the back,food was excellent and

Lovely pub, staff are so friendly, super helpful, polite and really make you feel welcome, the actual pub is really clean and really cosy and the food is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced 😋 definitely our new favourite go to for food in Chester. There's also a good selection for vegetarians

Came here for something to eat and a drink. Had the hunters chicken. The chicken itself was good. The chips were ok. The staff were nice.

Was looking for some food in a nice pub and the Yr olde Custom House surpassed all expectations. I had forgotten how nice the pub is inside l, Not too busy at all, very nicely decorated and kept pristine. Food was amazing, highly Recommend

Spent 3 night break in Chester and having visited the Old Customs House last year we returned…we ate here every night and between myself and my wife we had 6 different meals. All were 5 star pub meals, you simply can’t go wrong. Thanks to all the staff..see you next year

Been here a few times previously. The food was good & freshly cooked, reasonably priced, friendly atmosphere, everywhere was clean. Worth a visit even though it's just off the main shopping area

One of the best mixed grills I have had.young lady was a credit too that served drinks and took meal orders and served the food beers were spot on the Marston was keep well credit to the celler person

We had the steak,chips, mushrooms,onion rings,peas and tomato it was really enjoyable and quick service with friendly staff
