Weekend away in Chester, went here 3 times we enjoyed it that much. The cupcakes are to die for as well as a wide range of tea to have and to buy. Third visit I bought the teapot etc. Staff are rushed but do their job perfectly. Ignore the 1 and 2 star review clowns who don't know the concept of busy or space, if you want fake smiles and the same coffee go to costa or any other corporation,support your local independent shops like this, they do their best. Will Defo be coming here again.
Booked to go and celebrate silver wedding anniversary at Mad Hatters after our daughter went and loved it. The table was set up with tea cup and matching tea plates with star confetti scattered across it. We were made very welcome and enjoyed delicious sandwiches (without onion as per my request). We then moved on to a great scone with jam and clotted cream. We found that we couldn’t manage to find room for the cakes provided so these were boxed up for us to take home. This was all washed down with a never ending cup of coffee. All delicious and in quirky interesting surroundings. Thanks to the efficient friendly staff. A great way to celebrate a special occasion.
