Lovely clean cafe type restaurant next to the River Dee with indoor and outside seating. Smart decor. Nice choice of cakes. Friendly and helpful staff. There is an inside and outside menu which is unexpected!
On the 2nd of October,me and my boyfriend we went there for coffee. Place is next to the river, beautiful view. We decided to eat something. Poached eggs on top of toasted muffins with smoked salmon-delicious!!! We paid for that plus coffee and tea £25... Very fresh and sauce was brilliant!! Sandwic

Maybe ne best cafe in Chester. We had a beautiful breakfast outside in the sun on the river. Service was fantastic everyone had a smile on and food was also perfect. Thanks for the good start in the day :-)
Definitely the place to eat/drink beside the river in the summertime, very picturesque. Lovely to sit and watch the world sail by. They don't use the standard "order number on a wooden spoon" system for diners sitting outside. The waitress will stand and shout your number from the front step. So cho
A wonderful place sitting right on the banks of the River Dee. A comprehensive menu to accommodate most visitors from breakfast to dinner. A wide selection of drinks, all served by friendly attentive staff. A must if you are walking along the Groves.

Excellent service, very friendly staff . The food was also excellent , we both had the fish finger bap. The fish fingers were definitely not out of a packet . It was a day trip , but if we are ever in the area again , we will definitely go back

If you allow dogs in, need to be consistent with rules. One waitress said no water allowed for dog, then another asked my puppy to sit on the floor not on my jacket next to me who was asleep. Will be going to other cafe who are definitely dog friendly. I'd understand if it was a bigger dog sat besid
