This place is a hidden gem!came for our anniversary meal and have to say the food was amazing and the service was exceptional will definitely revisit and recommend highly
Best full English breakfast in Chester. Trust me, we’ve eaten everywhere and Duttons is by a mile the best quality for the price. Plus you can get a beer at 10am haha.
Lovely food, would recommend the duck in hoisin sauce wrap, really tasty and the staff were really accommodating and couldn’t do any more for us, thank you for a lovely afternoon after our Santa dash
Lovely atmosphere, great staff who were very attentive, food was fantastic, loved their Drumstick cocktail. We're looking forward to going again soon, can't recommend highly enough. Thank you.
Wow wow wow what a brilliant place came here for a Sunday lunch with my partner the service was beyond excellent everyone was lovely as for the beef that was outstanding will definetly be visiting here again and would 100% recommend it to anyone that likes a chilled out atmosphere and a cracking Sunday dinner
Had lunch at Dutton's yesterday after walking past earlier in the day thinking that looks good place to have lunch we were then given 10% off voucher in town. We both really enjoyed our food, my roast beef dinner was beautiful the meat was tender the veg so tasty and presented piping hot. My husband had the smoked fish dish with poached egg which he said was really good. We had a couple of drinks and cheesecake altogether was very reasonable and enjoyed. Staff were especially lovely, polite, cheerful and helpful. Won't hesitate to return next time we visit Chester.
The place is buzzin with a great atmosphere staff are lovely and chatty and the food is excellent! Great venue for meeting friends and celebrations! Or a tasty lunch!
What a wonderful place! I have eaten here twice in the last 3 days....the first time on the recommendation of a friend I was with and today I returned with my husband who was equally as impressed. The greeter was very friendly and professional and our waitress on both occasions - Petra - was great! First class service and excellent food in a lovely environment.
Lovely setting just off from the Cathedral
Had the duck spring rolls which were lovely and the butternut squash risotto which was superb . Would certainly recommend.
Very laid back atmosphere and pleasant staff. Lots of choice on the menu and food was very nice and nicely presented👍. I had burger with chips and then bread and butter pudding with ice cream and custard 😋😋😋
After feeling very let down at the Grosvenor hotel we decided to book here for a late night dinner. I think we made the best choice! We arrived at 8.30 and were welcomed by a lovely lady at the bar. We were seated by the window which was perfect for us, we wanted somewhere private. The window opened out as an extra bonus and the atmosphere was great! We had a couple of shots and a bottle of champagne (£10 off on a friday so great deal!). We were served by a really nice chap (sorry I didn't ask your name) :( . Even though it was late and the kitchen took last orders at 8.45, we didn't feel rushed to order. We ended up having the fillet steak and the surf and turf. I can honestly say, it was one of the best steaks I've ever had! Cooked perfectly, everything was hot and my husband loved his surf and turf too. We ended on the banoffee choux bun and brownie. Both were gorgeous. I would come back here in a heartbeat. Keep up the great work! See you next month!
Delicious Sunday roast with a Yorkshire pudding almost big enough to wear as a hat! Everything was well cooked and tasty. Price reasonable and service decent.
We love it here, every time we come we're never disappointed. £19.95 for 3 courses from the fixed price menu. Best to book, but we were lucky to get a table due to a no show. We'd been to the Christmas Market and decided to treat ourselves to a lovely meal. The place is deceiveingly bigger than it looks. Big room for a function and little nooks.
Very tastefully decorated pub, great food and attentive service. It was a bit quiet but we were in on a Wednesday night.
Great food and delicious drinks. If you have to visit a place then i highly recommend it 🤠. It's one of those "hidden gems" places.
We popped in at lunch time and we were greeted by a cheerful young lady who was very polite, she showed us to our table and gave us the bunch menu. My wife had the soup of the day, which was carrot and coriander and was accompanied with a slice of warm bread. I just had pancakes and maple syrup. The food was good and we enjoyed it, we also had a drink each and the bill was reasonable.Inside the building was clean and well presented. I will definitely be visiting again.
Really enjoyed our meal here. I had the Greek flatbread (basically a fancy kebab) which was very very nice. They had a 2 or 3 course menu for £20-odd quid which was really lovely. Atmosphere was great. Service was a bit slow but that's because there were only two staff of and, to be fair to them, they were rushed off their feet and handled it admirably.
Came here for my birthday meal on Monday and we're very happy. The food was delicious, the cocktails were brilliant and the service was friendly and fast. Highly recommend.
We had a lovely tipsy afternoon. Staff were so helpful and friendly. When we made a mess of our order, they sorted it with a smile at no cost. Service great, food good. Will definitely go back
