The atmosphere, food taste, service and welcome were excellent.

Really nice location and beautiful pub. The toilets are defo worth a visit. We had the vegan veg parcel in miso broth (see photo) for staters - stunning! It was very well presented and tasted delicious. It was also very refreshing to have a different option for a starter rather than the standard opt
I’ve eaten here many times over the last few years. Always good lively atmosphere in the main bar, quieter in the other dining rooms. Food is generally high quality, though today the crispy beef salad disappointed with a rather small serving size compared to the last time I ordered the same dish.
Been to a few establishments managed by Brunning & Price and this is one of the best. Is always busy though so make sure to book. Food and service were very good and atmosphere was buzzing but not too distracting. Might be different if full of drunk racegoers but that's only speculation not fact. Re

Word of warning if you drive in, don’t make the same mistake as me and turn into the abode parking, it’s the next left after the abode. It was no fun to drive out of 😂
First time in here. The serving staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was excellent. We had fish and chips. Very light and crispy batter, not greasy. Drinks a reasonable price.
It was a very noisy noisy atmosphere especially when the guests came in from the garden (which closed at 9pm).

Had lunch at The Architect which was a very nice and quite complete cheese board followed my ice cream and coffee. Sat outside as it was the first very hot days of the summer. Beautiful gardens and the staff were very correct.

Lovely place to go for food! We had the sunday lunch when we visited, and it did not disappoint! The staff are great, very accommodating and the location is even better, right at the side of the race course. On a beautiful sunny day you can not beat the outside dining area.

26th October was in a party of 10 we made a reservation a few weeks previously and mentioned it was a pre wedding meal the night before. The staff made a board of chocolate with the words Congratulations decorated with strawberries a really nice touch.on asking for the bill 3 of the staff came to us
