Found out about this restaurant a couple of weeks ago due to really craving some Greek food. We booked a table and we were given a lovely table near the kitchen. Our food was absolutely amazing and the portion sizes were perfect. Service was also spot on. Looking forward to returning!

So, day 2 in Chester and wanted to chill for the evening with some nice Greek food. Got to say round my area when you hear 2 for 1 Tuesday most of the time there is an implication of a drop of both quality and quantity, however gave this a go 2 for 1 Tuesday on gyros and kebabs here we come. So me and the wife endeavoured into chicken gyro each which came with fries and also shared some halloumi fries. For a side at first the halloumi fries looked expensive at around £8 just for that but when it arrived pleasantly surprised the portion was huge. So worth the money but the flavour was delicious not too salty and the honey dip complimented the salty goodness. The Gyros around £10 but remember we got one free was just amazing, the salad was fresh the sauce was the same but more importantly the chicken was both juicy, flavourful and NOT dry. The bread for the gyro was nice and soft. This did not disappoint aswell in the drinks department to Mocktails wife got a strawberry mint one I got a Mango one (which had nice unusual names) and so refreshing. All in all the food was worth the money and getting that offer on Tuesday was worth it which in fairness I would say I would pay full price on a normal day too. The staff were friendly, top notch people and helpful. The atmosphere was absolutely great just chilled you look round the decor is just old greek mixed with a bit of steampunk elements, you look around everyone is having a good time and most importantly just smiling. I would say if you're visiting Chester like me give this place a go it will not disappoint.

Absolutely gorgeous!!!! The food was delicious. I had Mousakka with Greek Salad (photo) and hubby had Lamb Kleftico. Both very tasty. Nice bottle of wine with dinner too. Lovely atmosphere. Very friendly, helpful staff. So good we've booked again😃 Update following return visit: Just as good, we both had the Lamb Kleftico, absolutely lovely😋 Definitely recommend The Olive Tree Brasserie 🌳

Considering the size of our party (19 adults), the service was amazing. 1 main food order wrong out of all of us, but it was so quickly rectified that it didn't cause any issue at all. Private room for our party due to the size and although warm in there (no-one would have predicted a September heatwave!) It didn't detract from our excellent evening. Drinks orders were taken at the table, and split bills for the alcohol at the end, made payment so easy. The staff were so friendly and attentive! The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I would happily eat here again Thank you Olive tree Brasserie Chester

Lovely restaurant, perfect little spot for a sit down and delicious lunch , we both got gyros and couldn't really go wrong. The fries were a little on the crispy side but asides from that can't particularly complain.

We happened to come across this restaurant whilst walking around the city and were instantly interested in paying it a visit. So we popped in and booked a table for the next evening. We requested a table by the window and whilst we were told that couldn't be promised, they didn't let us down. The location is central, on Watergate Street and situated above shops. It is a Greek themed restaurant with a choice of traditional Greek dishes. My wife ordered the Greek fish and chips. I had the burger. Both meals were really nice, tasty and freshly cooked. The service was friendly and the staff all seemed happy. It was quite busy for a Friday night but still had ample seating upstairs if required. The prices are reasonable considering the location. Overall we really enjoyed it and if we were ever in Chester again we would definitely revisit.

Absolutely blown away by the food and service today. Went for lunch with my mum and daughter, it got extremely busy for the staff but my gosh I’ve never seen such a team work together like this 🫶🏻. Chefs out helping the waitresses on tables and the the most attentive waitress service I’ve had in a long, even though it was so busy… Amazing team work. The food was incredible, way above what I expected…. already planning our return. Thank you so much Xx

I enjoyed my first time here. This place was so aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. As you can see in my picture, they had a beautiful tree in the middle with fairy lights all around it. The toilets are upstairs and similarly the restaurant is just as nice upstairs. It was relatively quite when we went. There were a few other people there, but it wasn't busy. Our server was lovely and attentive, he was the only waiter it seemed, but he worked well. For my food I got a chicken gyro, which came with fries and I also got a side of onions rings. I did very much like my chicken gyro, I think my only criticism would be that the food within the gyro wasn't really distributed evenly and all the tzatziki sauce was in one end of my gyro. This did mean some bites were a little hard to swallow as they were dry. The fries were nice, they were coated in a red salt. I didn't like the onion rings. They looked promising and were proper fresh onion rings, however they didn't seem to have any seasoning on/in them whatsoever and so this made them really boring to eat. Combined with the fact that they weren't crispy as I expected them to be, I just didn't think they were worth getting, especially not for £4.50 they were. I think I would go back here and try something different on the menu, just to see what that's like. I would recommend trying this place if you like greek and Mediterranean food.

Great Sunday lunch, lovely service and a nice decor and atmosphere inside. The roast was delicious although there could have been a bigger variety of greens or some roasted carrots or parsnips. We got a groupon which was amazing value. We will be booking again!

Really attentive staff. The food was of excellent quality, and extremely tasty. The Calamari and Greek sausage for starters were of enormous quantity. For my mains. I had the Beef Stifado which to be honest was the best I have ever tasted. My partner had the Lamb Kleftiko, which fell off the bone. All in all I would recommend this place if visiting Chester. Thank you for giving my partner and myself a really great experience.
