The Old Harkers Arms - Chester - Photo album

What a lovely pub. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Location is about a ten minute walk from the Chester train station. And about 10 minutes from the town centre. Situated on the canal front. A dog friendly pub. It also serves food. I didn’t try the food. But looking at the plates that went
Great location by the canal. Quirky pub very busy and a variety of drinks on offer. Great menu polite friendly staff. So chilled sitting outside just watched the world go by. Will be returning
Lovely pub on the canal side. Great pit stop for a drink or something to eat. The staff are great and knowledgeable about the drinks they have available, and always able to make a suggestion for recommendations. Nice to sit outside if the weather is nice and overlook the canal.
Enjoyed a very late (8:50pm) meal here on Sunday night. Really happy they were still serving food that late. Food was great, service was excellent, the barman/manager came over to make sure my meal would be ok (I have intolerances/allergies). Lovely spot by the canal, menu seems to change regularly

This was the start and end of our pub crawl, the fact that I remember handing over most of the shrapnel in my pocket for the tip jar means I was enjoying myself. We had a couple of sharing plates for snacks earlier in the day. Food was great. Beer was great. Life was great.
I thought I had already reviewed this establishment but possibly not? Anyway, it was OK but not overly exciting. The food was also OK but not exciting but they annoying thing was the acoustics with very hard furnishings it made it very noisy and rowdy. The staff were very nice but personally not a r
I've had the pleasure of visiting Chester several times over the past few years. The first time I came, I found this place while exploring the city. Now, no trip is complete without a visit to this pub. Several visits, preferably. This place isn't a standard shady sports pub with a bunch of young
