Booked on line to use up a Buy A Gift Voucher we'd been given. This included a flight of craft beers each and a burger. We arrived early for our booking, which wasn't a problem. We were greeted and shown to our table. The team explained how the voucher worked and left us to choose our flight of beers. When the flight was delivered we were told about each beer and what to look out for. Needless to say, they went down nicely and complemented the food perfectly. Food was served promptly and was really nice. Onion rings in beer batter were lush. We spent the afternoon sampling various craft beers available and weren't rushed to give up our table. We'd highly recommend the Brewhouse & Kitchen and look forward to getting a train down to Chester again soon for a return visit. Thanks guys, we had a excellent experience.
Dynamite! Took a casual stroll through Chester and stopped in on a whim. Logan was delightful and quick to give insight into their delicious rotating brews. Ordered the fish and chips and fried haloumi with chili sauce and sat in some very comfy snd cool chairs. Fantastic flavors and was happy to see their condiments are locally sourced and clean of fillers or fake ingredients, a nice departure from the mess they serve in the US.
Interesting and informative afternoon at one of the beer master classes. 8 samples to expand beer knowledge understanding the history of brewing and knowing what goes into the various beers. Our host kept it interesting and the brewery tour helped in the understanding the size of the operation. Food was included in our experience which was very tasty and welcome after the tastings. Sue & I visited here thanks to a "dining" present. Even from the start we were both impressed by the staff, their knowledge and the menu.
Our waiter gave us snippets of knowledge about the beers and the location which were a lovely touch.
The food was amazing. I had the smokey bacon and cheese burger - wow! I can trough, and this was a challenge but one I met.
I had the American IPA as I do enjoy that type, so I was very happy.
We are already preparing to revisit but on an overnight stay rather than just a luncheon.
So I believe that shows how much we enjoyed our visit.
Thanks to all the staff. Brilliant!
Nice pub to stop for a drink. We didn't have anything to eat but the menu looked good as did food coming out to other guests. Standard prices for central Chester to be honest.
The overall experience was good. The chicken burger was good but the cheeseburger was just ok (tasted like McDonald's, the beef was too thin probably). I'd recommend the dirty fries and the local beer. Also we went on monday and it was so cheap.
What a lovely gem of a place in the middle of the hustle of Chester.
We came for lunch whilst on a weekend away staying in the City.
The food and the service were spot on. Thank you.
I wanted a present for someone from Chester. They didn’t have any individual cans of their own beer. However they had growler bottles which were lovely. I had it filled with draught IPA. It made a great present.
10/10 in food, beer, but most of all, the service. I love having a place where the bartender knows my drink! It's the one place in Chester that I keep coming back to.
A high quality environment, a significant improvement on the spoons pub that once occupied the building. Own on site micro brewery, and 4 of their ales on the bar.
Michael was very welcoming and informative at our gin tasting experience today. We had 5 selections of gin to try with assorted tonics and fruits and info about each 1. A meal to follow was organised well and very nice. We sat and had a complimentary full double g&t of our choice afterwards and the atmosphere was just right. Tasteful low background music 🎶 so we could talk to 1 another too. Thank you
