Interesting and informative afternoon at one of the beer master classes. 8 samples to expand beer knowledge understanding the history of brewing and knowing what goes into the various beers. Our host kept it interesting and the brewery tour helped in the understanding the size of the operation. Food
Sue & I visited here thanks to a "dining" present. Even from the start we were both impressed by the staff, their knowledge and the menu.
Our waiter gave us snippets of knowledge about the beers and the location which were a lovely touch.

Nice pub to stop for a drink. We didn't have anything to eat but the menu looked good as did food coming out to other guests. Standard prices for central Chester to be honest.
The overall experience was good. The chicken burger was good but the cheeseburger was just ok (tasted like McDonald's, the beef was too thin probably). I'd recommend the dirty fries and the local beer. Also we went on monday and it was so cheap.
What a lovely gem of a place in the middle of the hustle of Chester.

A high quality environment, a significant improvement on the spoons pub that once occupied the building. Own on site micro brewery, and 4 of their ales on the bar.
