Best vegan Indian restaurant. A friendly service from Bobby, the Punjabi Samosas were some of the best I’ve tasted, this is how Indian food should be, the stuffed puri bread was divine. And for the first time ever we had a choice of not one but four cakes for desert, everything is labelled clearly as vegan. We had a perfect evening, thank you and keep up the good work.
You can tell how good an Asian restaurant is by whether the local Asian community frequent it. Chai Station is a go too restaurant. Only serving Veg and Vegan food it's a rare find. No alcohol but you can take your own. All the food is prepared to order and we'll worth the short wait, 5 mins for us. The owner and waitress were both helpful when it came to choices, of which there are many, even carnivores will find many dishes they'll love. Eating out for less than £20 a head is rare these days, add food of this quality as well, you'll probably see a Dodo first. Many thanks, Nick.
A lovely indian restuarant in chester to spend a evening. It's located in brook street which is almost in heart of the city. The centre of attraction Bobby is cool and friendly. small restuarant but ambience is nice, with some classic bollywood songs. Food is tasty, worth giving a try…
It was like our home for a couple of months
My girlfriend and I were visiting Chester for a couple days. Our shared love for Indian food and her being a vegetarian, we decided to try this little place. It did not disappoint! Great service and food from Bobby and his Wife. Affordable and delicious.
The Chai tea was a must have as a palate cleanser! With some Puri of course!!!

Bobby runs a lovely authentic vegetarian Indian restaurant. The food is super tasty and great value. We had to wait a little while to be served but I think they were down a staff member and the food and friendly service more than made up for it.
Had an absolutely brilliant meal here. Had Pani Puri. Excellent service and the food was authentic Indian street food. Will be back soon. Thank you to Bobby and his wife.

I have been in the UK for the last 1 and a half years. I live in Wrexham as I'm a university student.
I tried many Indian foods in Wrexham restaurants but it's tasteless.
Today I visited CHAI STATION based on my university professor. He told me that he loved the food and especially the INDIAN TEA from here.
So I visited today and tried.
But as it's dinner time
I choose to have dishes like PANEER curry and CHAPATI as bread.
It was a great experience. Like after a year I taste like indian food.
Also in the starter I ordered a DAHI PAPADI CHAAT(indian street food). It was also delicious 😋.
So my overall experience was great.
There is only an uncle and aunty to make and serve the food.
But they are nice people
I enjoyed their company while eating. So it was great
And I recommend it to everyone who wants Indian food from Chester or around the place.
Chester doesn't have much good options for vegetarian Indian food. Chai station is one of the two outlets where Indian vegetarian can go for dinner.
It's a cozy place at Brook Street open from Wednesday to Saturday only.

I’ve been planning to go here for a while now, and finally got around to it. They’re is a lot of range on the menu, all vegetarian and the vegan dishes are clearly marked. We were greeted and welcomed warmly by Bobby, who then took our order. We got there at 2pm, their opening time, and by 2.30, it was more than half full, which speaks for itself. Bobby made recommendations and asked if we wanted it spicy or not. The food arrived promptly and was delicious! The prices are very reasonable for the quality, and of course the service. There is no alcohol licence, but you are allowed to take your own drinks, which is a great touch. Wonderful experience overall. I would recommend it and return again!
My husband and I had a chance to visit “chai station” today and we totally loved the ambience and food served here. Bobby uncle was so kind and warm that I felt like being home. Must visit!
Last evening my brother, grandfather, and I went to Chai Station for dinner. I had a great time. The staff was really friendly and the meal was delicious. The vegan and vegetarian options are out of this world.

Home away home is how I would describe the food at chai station! Food like my mum’s cooking and entertainment like my dad’s incharge. A must visit.
