Lovely surroundings, friendly staff, extensive menu, some lovely different curries on menu, food delicious, a little bit more expensive from run of the mill curry restaurants but worth it, would certainly recommend

From walking in and being taken to our table, waited on in a super polite & friendly manner, exceptional food, exceptional tastes, exceptional surroundings from start to finish this was by far one of the best restaurants I've ever been too. Staff were patient, welcoming and friendly and you've got to give the lamb shank a go, wow........
Booked for my son's 11th birthday.. staff did not disappoint. Wow. Balloons, happy birthday music and sparklers on his cake. Food was amazing, everyone enjoyed the whole night. Thank you so much.
Superb food, friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere, very busy and still comfortable. Would recommend without hesitation. If there had to be one criticism, I could only think that parking may be a bit of a squeeze on a busy night, but that can't really be helped.

Visited Le Raaj with my boyfriend for a lovely date night 22/04/2023. Restaurant was selected purely because I liked the look of the decor/styling of the place & I had read a lot of really good reviews from other diners...
Let me just say that I am very pleased we picked this beautiful restaurant! The staff are fantastic, the food is absolutely delicious & the decor is gorgeous. From entering the building, to dining, to leaving, every single member of staff we encountered were polite, courteous, outgoing, friendly & helpful. From the bar staff to the waiting staff right up to Rez the owner of the restaurant who was also on service during our visit.
Never have I been to a restaurant where the owner is very much a big part of the day to day service, nor have I ever been personally approached or conversed with an owner like we had here. Rez really adds a very personal touch to the dining experience at Le Raaj. He's a very chatty down to earth guy who clearly takes great pride in his restaurant/business & making sure his diners have a lovely memorable experience.
Our meal was absolutely beautiful, could not fault a single thing about it. Portions are amazing, you really get what you pay for! Meats/prawns cooked perfectly & the flavours combined with all the spices & sauces are wonderful. Starters are presented beautifully & really made me hungry for my main which was absolutely delicious. Drinks were great too.

Starters: King Prawn Suka & Bhuna Prawn on puree.
Mains: Chicken Tikka Dupiaza & Chicken Bhuna both with Pilau Rice.
Sides: Chips, Peshwari Nan & Popadoms.

Was better than expected, price not too bad, food was great, drinks were a little slow and naan breads on the small side but minor points to pick on.
We were first timers Le Raaj last night.The surroundings are pleasant,restaurant and toilets very clean and the service and advice provided (especially by Masum) was exemplary.
The food was as good as we have had anywhere (Indian wise) and the meal was finished off with a complementary drink for my wife and myself.
Spot on on all counts,i couldn't recommend it enough.
Me, my partner and friends have been tonight and it was absolutely gorgeous. Very attentive staff, very friendly .... just lovely. The meals were fantastic, overall amazing π π π Will be back for sure!! Well recommend! π

This is an absolutely beautiful restaurant.
The staff are so attentive and friendly. Food is absolutely beautiful it's the best Indian restaurant I've been to. Only thing i would change is the music on in the background didn't quite match the decor and cuisine.... It would be nice to have some traditional Indian music playing to complete the experience. We will definitely be regulars from now on.
We came here as a birthday treat for my mother. The restaurant was very busy but the staff were always available. The food arrived very promptly, yet we never felt rushed. And each of us had a delicious meal.
Towards the end of the meal my wife let it be known that it was mother's birthday. The next we knew the lights were dimmed and Happy Birthday was playing over the sound system. My mum received an ice cream with a sparkler in it - she was embarrassed but very pleased.
The staff were excellent and we had a most enjoyable evening.

Great place! Friendly staff, Great food! Came here with my girlfriend after passing by it so many times on my commute home and wasn't disappointed.
The place oozes class yet we turned up in casual dress wear and were made to feel so welcomed by the staff. The starter of pickles, chilli, sauces and poppadoms was bursting with flavours and the main lamb madras I had was to die for! My girlfriend had a prawn curry dish and we were sharing everything just because the dishes were lush & didn't want to miss the opportunity to try them all.
Plenty of vegetarian options too and Cobra was the choice of non alcoholics available. I had a nice large red wine which was great tasting and really complimented the curry.
Our waiter was excellent and had a good chat between us all making us feel warmly at home. It was a Monday we arrived and hadn't booked a table but place was fairly busy even for a start of the working week with a nice selection of people in there.
Definitely returning here again and glad we finally decided to pull in and try the restaurant after driving by so many times, a hidden gem & highly recommend.
Lovely place. Great food. Staff are so helpful and there's ample car parking. The restaurant is really lovely with a very happy atmosphere.
Went here for a quick meal as I was nearby, the staff were very pleasant, friendly and as, it was late (they shut at two on an afternoon) was told we, could still have our meal and we weren't rushed. That's why only 4 stars for atmosphere. Will be back to try an evening meal with the wife.
