We came here for our Sunday roast, absolutely stunning to say the least. Proper home cooked food, not commercialised rubbish.
Food cooked from scratch by the owners and their staff, who I must say could not be more attentive and helpful if they tried.

Popped in for a quick Sunday lunch. A meatless dinner and a lamb dinner.. absolutely beautiful. You could eat either inside or outside, also takeaway. Staff were great. Service was great. Food and drinks are really good value. Very clean and welcoming. We will be visiting again soon.
Had an absolutely amazing Sunday lunch here today. Everything beautifully cooked with melt in the mouth beef. Real Yorkshire puddings and plenty of fresh veg. Staff lovely too! Will definitely be back.
A night out with family in this italian themed restaurant and the dining rooms are very spacious, great friendly staff and the meals were cheap and quite good. The Wheatsheaf has a very long history in the area and the new owners do not disappoint. Overall we had a great night. Will return.
One of my favourites great food, lovely friendly atmosphere, the Owners are salt of the earth. Definitely a place you can take all the family including your 4 legged bestie. 🐶
